| It is what it is.
Personally not for me but I'm a bit old to let it bother me. I'd very much like us to design one near to the shirt that was known and respected throughout the sixties, obviously with annual variations - perhaps it can't be done, I don't know.
Anyway I'm more concerned with how the players play while they're wearing it !

| I usual buy one in alternate seasons. Bought last season's so due a miss for this, thankfully. Not very struck at all. I think drab is the word I'm looking for. Like 1315, I would like to see something more like the 60s classic.

| Wigan have the chevrons on the back of the shirt as well. You'd be amazed how much of a fuss some fans kick up about having red chevrons on the white socks too.
As a neutral, yours is probably my favourite 2021 shirt so far.

We did that two years ago, 2018 was almost identical to a sixties kit. We seem to revisit that classic every 4 years or so which is about right imo.

I take it you're joking.

| Looks good. It's recognisable as a Wakefield shirt, which is all that matters. Compare it to Wigan's effort, which looks like they've turned into Salford.
Not a carbon copy of two years ago as the white is in the middle, not the red. Good effort.

Quite right vasty, but they never quite get the width of the red and blue horizontal bands to quite match the proportions of the original. I think that's why they can keep resurrecting it regularly. I was watching Trin at the time they introduced the classic shirt, around 1961, and if I'm not mistaken it was the first, or one of the first. to be reproduced as a "replica" for open sale. I was 13 at the time and wore mine proudly for school. I don't remember any other club producing replica jerseys at that time. Truly iconic.

I don't know if it was intended as a wear anytime replica in those days but we all had to buy a Rugby Shirt for P.E. at school. Virtually every lad at Snapethorpe would turn up with that classic predominantly white Trin shirt apart from a lad called Stephen Booth who had the predominantly blue shirt. I believe he was related to Legendary Prop Jack Booth who provided him with the unique item.
During the 60s I never thought of going to the game in the shirt though. Scarf and hat were more popular. Reckon the Wembley trip in 70s was the 1st time I bought a shirt as leisurewear

All a matter of personal taste. Personally, I love it. Really liked the white and blue Adidas versions of the 80s and this is similar. Like the navy blue too, which is a bit of a departure from recent seasons
