| Just like Woolf wasn't a rubbish coach last week when Sts weren't on it, I don't believe Chester is the problem.
If we change we need to go better with an experienced coach, not an assistant trying his hand.
Personally, I still believe we need a midfield general. It will change the team completely. Chester says he's searching for someone.
Ironically, just to add more fuel, I think we are 3 games away from the longest losing run in our history.

| That was one of the most impotent performances i have ever witnessed from a Wakefield side. The was nothing to worry Saints at all. One Batchelor break that amounted to nothing apart we asked zero questions, one interception by our on loan winger was the only way we were ever going to avoid a nilling. It is not good enough. The can be no excuse with the build up this week, no players dropping out, settled build up, more or less same team. Yet clueless again. Time to go Chester i’m afraid, you are a man out of ideas.

As has been said, Chester replaced Finn with an even older half, not very forward thinking. Money that could have been spent better.
Chester reminds me of David O'Leary at Leeds, he had a great start, then he ended up buying anyone who was any good irrespective of what position they played.

Do you honestly think one player 'a midfield general' as you put it can change the whole facet of the way we play? The players cart it up in ones for the whole game barely making 5 yards. We play the same way week after week. We produce the odd slightly better performance usually when the opposition are below par a la last week. We are clueless, predictable, unfit, ship tries for fun. If a midfield general can sort that lot out he must be some player!!

| Makinson had three free runs at the line, same old winger problem.
Fifita has his head elsewhere.
Walker is a disaster area.
The coaching is embarrassing as is the after match interview.
Pathetic

| As much as I like my half backs, Lewis and Sterling would have struggled by that inept performance tonight by, what i saw, the front rowers.
It was mentioned earlier in the week about wingers helping out the forwards in running it in, early in the tackle count. Tonight it was nearly every play.
Koppy, Green, Fifita never once looked to have the heart for the battle.
Yes, seriously need an organiser, but just as important, the front row need to take a long look, or we seriously need a clear out in that postion too

Wolf`s team probably performed there worst since he has been in charge and they still won the game, they are Super league champions, we barely scraped SL survival last year and we have a 15% win rate this season, there is a difference is there not?

Saints weren’t on it last week (and still beat us) and Woolf sorted the problem, thus they towelled us this time. Chester has presided over defeat after defeat for over a year and we keep on making the same mistakes. And yet you think Chester isn’t the problem? You are deluding yourself mate. If you think Sam Williams is going to sort this mess out then you are in for a massive disappointment.

Think that's a bit unfair on Kopczak, he did ok in a poor performance and was at least running onto the ball hard, albeit he was repeatedly greeted with very strong defence. The problem was rather than mix it up and sometimes throw it wide on the 2nd and 3rd tackle to give them something to think about and make it harder for them to steamroller us in the middle, we just played the same way over and over and over and over and over again and made it easy for them to smash us up front.

Don’t get me wrong, normally I like Koppy, And personally I think he’s been head and shoulders above any of our other front rowers since he came, but barely did he or Green take it up in first half. Fifita and Battye did, but the game was all but gone, by the time they came on.
Sorry, for me, as a unit, the front row were very poor tonight.
The backs ran it in with effort, and Rocky tried to make ground from impossible positions

| Why would a decent coach want to join a club who have sold their better players and replaced them with honest pros (which means boring) and have performed so badly.
We all know Chester is going nowhere because how many other clubs would put up with 5 wins out of 31, he knows when he is onto a good thing. It is the supporters who are the ones who must suck up these displays and keep paying the money and also take the blame for the club being unable to pay up to the maximum salary cap.
I hope you are all appreciative that the club haven’t sacked us because of our inability to finance them with the money they require. It’s clearly not Chester’s fault because of what he has to work with it is clearly ours and has Carter said we should cut him some slack.

| I think it’s more than just the coach, though there needs to be fresh ideas in that department too for 2021.
For me we are carrying players who have been very good for us over the years but are no longer up to the standard required (most through age).
If I was been ruthless I would target these issues as I think there would be a huge difference given the right players.
1. Organising half - blatantly obvious! Though to be fair I think a complete overhaul would be welcome here. I’d also take Albert Kelly as a 6 too.
2. Desperately need a new quality 9 who can expose the quick play of balls. Wood is almost 32 and his distribution has been poor. Other Wood is fine but he’s a bench 9 for me.
3. Ageing forwards and Front row - Kopzack, Green, Tangata, Ashurst need shipping out imo and replacing with 2 quality props.
4. A full back who can join the line and create the overlap much like ratchford, coote, Tomkins. I’d actually settle for a Hampshire at full back long term.
Brutal but i think there needs to be some big changes in playing squad.
