| Quote: Emley Cat "Effort first class can't ask for more than that - tackle well, run hard, play to your strengths, you'll always have a chance. What gets me is, against Wigan twice and St Helens we've matched them and had a pretty good game plan serving up 3 great performances with a team missing quite a few regulars. In other games against 'lesser' opposition we've looked clueless, leaking tries and generally looked poor. If we keep this level of effort up we will surely get a win or two soon but credit where credit's due, well done for tonight.'"
Then it's an attitude thing then is it not??

| Quote: Wildmoggy "So what does that performance tell you where the problems are, with the coaches or the players?? Last week good prep, same 17 picked from the week before and a crap performance, this week our so called better players ruled out, lot of disruption, yet we play like that?! I've said on here before that Chester has too many options and it's messing with his head, what the hell is our best 17?!!'"
Before we get too carried away with the better attitude and increased effort!
We fell away in the last 12 minutes of the 1st half and again in the last 15 minutes of the 2nd, that suggests a lack of fitness especially in the 1st where we had more ball and made less tackles.
If we had better structures and attacking shape to go along with the effort we just might start winning the tight games by scoring when we’re on top. We’ve put in the odd performance like this during the restarted season most notably against Wigan twice, let’s hope we can back it up next game!

Absolutely, all I wanted was the actual players who took to the field to perform to a higher standard than they had been showing, and not keep making excuses which were ready made. Attitude and effort should be a given anyway, but tonight's performance makes things even more frustrating really, there is and has been more than enough talent in this squad to have won at least 3 or 4 games since the re-start.

Think there's a reasonable consensus on here that we have a decent enough squad, the issue is how well are they being coached

| I'm so proud of them tonight. Also am stuffed with humble pie for my criticism and asking for Chester's sacking for the first time last week. I just wanted to see us play some decent rugby league and we've more than done that tonight. Don't let that defeat knock you lads.

I had plenty to say about coaching myself lately, so I'm not going to be a hypocrite, but come on fella, that wasn't a badly coached side tonight.
I was also thinking...how come we've played Wigan twice, we've got at Helens twice, Leeds twice, London twice.? Not played Hull kr yet. Or Salford. What a bloody fixture list.
Not a thing to criticise tonight. Pity we coughed up a set restart on walmsly. It ultimately cost us the match. But there we are. That was what I pay my season ticket money for and I don't think it's fair to be criticising coaching after that

| Great effort tonight. Chester should put same team out next week, apart from Fafita coz he still doesnt look interested. Hampshire and Tanganoa on fire tonight and should be there. Some of senior players not in tonight should need to earn their spot. Bailey was blinding, but thought Jowitt was outclassed.

You must have been watching a different match to me. Fifita had his best match since restart.

Look
According to sky, with a combination of covid and injury we fielded the 17 we had more or less. This is bloody hard. They deserve 100% praise for that tonight and nothing else

Give it a rest. I'll criticise if it's deserved but that's tosh. Lynne was chased down by o e of the fastest players in the game. Hampshire was brilliant.

| No wasnt watching a different game! Fifita not interested, didnt bend his back. We need forwards who want to win. As I say, Hamshire was excellent and should be in team unlike last few weeks. Him, Lynne, Wood, Tanganoa and Bailey played with heart
