Chris Green came to us on loan at the back end of last season as he wasn't going to get offered a contract at Hull.
I think it was common knowledge that he didn't want to leave Hull but signed for us permanently, there was a rumour early in the season that Hull were interested in taking him back and a possible swap deal might be on the cards but nothing came of that.
It's a shame because he's a good forward.

I wouldn't blame Tom if he went, he's been a pleasure to watch, but would be sad to see him go.
As for DF-again he's been great to watch and if everybody got their act together the magic could happen again - but, for us, I doubt it. Some magic seems to be missing from the DF/Trinity relationship.
As for Tanginoa to Cas' - doesn't get much worse than that . An extremely promising player, not used to full potential by us, going to, of all clubs, Cas' .

Damned if you do damned if you don't some posters on here been screaming their sad little heads off for a half back rumour comes along about Williams but that's not acceptable cos he's too pricey. Unfortunately when you sign Aussie halves that are anywhere near decent more often than not they cost big bucks. Sam Williams might be the man or not who knows but it seems to me you just can't please some people. As for our star players leaving I wouldn't blame them cos its only a matter of time before our loyal supporters stab them in the back . I'm sick of hearing people saying no season ticket for me well if that's how you feel go support someone else and at least we won't have to stand on the terraces with you.

That is a fair comment but unfortunately with the COVID19 situation, for some,the future is uncertain.

My next door neighbour, both him and his wife have recently been laid off. They are both season ticket holders, and so are their children. As it stands that could be 5 not on the terraces next year. Add to that the merchandise. They want to, but right now have to cut their cloth accordingly.

Likewise they won’t have to put up with sanctimonious pr1cks like you.

I wasn't referring to people who unfortunately won't be able to afford a season ticket in the present crisis my post was toward the ones taking their ball home because they don't like the way the club is being handled or they don't like Chester. There comes a time when you have to make your mind up what you want not to disagree with everything that goes on. It is frustrating for most supporters but slagging the club, staff and players off doesn't help anyone and it seems some of the fannies on here just don't get the difficulties the whole club faces.

No slagging off isn’t going to help, but at the same time fans most of whom gave up their season ticket money, you can’t exactly blame them for being unhappy for how the season is turning out. Yesterday the team just seemed to give up despite only being 4 points behind at the break. Barring only one or two, it was Chester’s first choice 17.

What's the difference whether you can or can't afford a season ticket other than having better things to spend their money on, no buts at all, it's all about opinions and if someone says enough is enough who are you to throw insults about, unless of course you've been on here before under a different name, maybe the fannies on here don't buy into your rhetoric but perhaps you'd like to explain the difficulties you can see that us fannies can't.

No I haven't i don't need to hide behind another name. The point I'm trying to make be it rather badly it seems is all our constant whingeing and name calling of our team and management does no good whatsoever. Every supporter is disappointed with the season so far but with covid standowns and such I think we've had our fair share. Regarding Chester and Carter I'm sure too they are unhappy with our current form. IMO I don't think Chester is a bad coach and as some have said he probably needs some help. Well help is on its way with Willie and maybe the combination of Chester and Poaching things will turn around but we have to give them that chance and also hope between them they can keep hold of our best players. I remember us not wanting Agar but he ain't doing too bad now. Let Carter, Chester, and Poaching sort us a good playmaker whether it is Sam Williams or not and we may have a pretty good team again. Keep the faith the good times will return eventually.
