| Quote: PopTart "I've been for the football and sat in the Kop.
The atmosphere is unbelievable and that is part of its iconic status. Only Cardiff Arms Park and now Millennium Stadium rivals it for singing fans.
I've been at least twice for rugby and felt cramped.
It's worth going to but if you are built like a rugby player it'll be tough for a full day.
The only thing I'll say is it won't be full so you'll have more space around you to spread.'"
The problem with Anfield which is as you say is iconic is not the stadium but it’s surroundings. That’s what made Newcastle so good imo, it was a nice place to be, inside and out.
The RL needs to realise there is a huge difference between a match ie an international and a two day event. That’s why the NRL used the Suncorp as it’s winter in Sydney or what call winter
Imho Anfield is not suitable for an event and I honestly have no wish to make a day let alone a weekend of it. I genuinely hope others don’t feel the same but I fear they do

I agree.
The sad ything is that the RFL recognised the advantage of Newcastle and still moved it.

| Although repeat fixtures can become a little stale, the lack of any big derby games this year has meant a loss of some of the "magic" of previous seasons.
Wire v Wigan has a derby feel about it and should be a cracking game, with Saints v Cas being the other "juicy" game.
After these 2, Trinity v Catalan is the 3rd best and could produce the tightest contest against 2 well matched sides but there is very little "magic" in the remaining games.
This should be a show piece event and surely, we have to have derby games, both to increase attendance but, also to show the game at its best.
Really looking forward to our game though.
With a couple of new signings (I know that Sau has already played) and a couple more coming back from injury, we look altogether stronger than last week.
Catalan are in good form and it will be a tough ask to go from last weeks for to being good enough to beat them but, I've got a feeling that Trinity will win this one and with the league being so tight from 3rd to 9th and Wire now picking up a couple of key injuries, there really is everything to play for.
Come on Trin !

I think id go with that too.
I've got my regular amnesia and forgotten how bad we were last week and now excited for this week. I'd like to see Fifita have a big game again in front of the big crowd and Miller always seems to excel at Magic too.

Leeds v London may not be the most attractive fixture this weekend, but I’m sure both sets of fans, view it as a crucial game.
Thank you

| Having seen the 19, no Crowther and obviously Arona, I wonder who will start at 13?? Going to be interesting who CC starts with. Obviously all eyes on the new guy, I seem to remember a few years back Tautai making his debut at Magic? Let's hope he ruffles a few feathers. Goes without saying a massive improvement needed from last week......but thought i'd say it anyway......

| Hello Wakefield fans . The return of Mead is vital to us .Last week we put Langi and Bird at halfback and Bird got injured and somehow we played without a second halfback .Whether Smith is the answer remains to be seen .Kasiano is now fit, very hard to stop and amazingly skilful ..I think the Catalan team will be Gigot,Tierney Mead Williame Yaha -Smith Langi - Bousquet Da Costa Moa Edwards Whitely Casty Plus Kasiano Simon Baitieri and Garcia. We played with huge determination last week and will find that hard to repeat.

No Bird, Tomkins & McIlorum is a huge loss for Catalans. Given the emotion of last week for them as well a strong Wakey line up should have the edge in this one and win it by a couple of scores.

| Catalan are favourites with the bookies with 3.5 or 4 start.

| Dont get all the moaning about Anfield - the seats are a little tight but we arent gonna be packed in, plenty of room to spread out.
The area around the ground isnt great, but whats a 10 minute taxi ride into town or 15 mins on bus?
Great stadium to watch sport in for me - cant wait. Although Im not stopping over for the first time ever as hotels were lude prices.

George King would be my guess...been an excellent signing and one of very few who could hold his head high last week...
That would leave possibly Hirst or Kirmond for a bench spot? Size or experience and work rate?
Hope we’re not all expecting too much too soon from the new lad either...would be great if he hit the ground running and had an immediate impact but it very rarely works out like that!
