Pauli has his off moments as others have commented, but on his day he is far above average, in fact he is devastating.

Players of every type get injured that’s s fact of life - look at Kirmond hardly a fat lad is he. If PP has a suspect knee it’s going to blow anyway, better now than five minutes into the first real game.

I feel for PP and we have certainly lost an option but so do all teams. Luckily we have a big strong squad and we will cope.

Got to feel for Pauli, he went through the ringer with injuries etc in 2017 and was gradually returning to the devastating player he was during the course of last season. Hopefully, he can return with no problems and get back to bouncing players around like pinballs when he does. There's no doubt we'll cope without him but he does add that x-factor that offers don't. If things go to plan, he should be right for the warmer weather.
