That's a fantastic prediction........

A few years ago I went to a Queens Park Rangers game at Huddersfield & was recommended to go to The Slubber Arms, which has street parking & about a fifteeen minute walk to the gorund.
At the time (five years ago) it was a freehold pub that offered about eight real ales, a few ciders & lagers that were not Fosters etc. The food on offer was crisps, nuts & suasage rolls. The regulars were very friendly & this remains my favourite pub to have visited while watching football.
I hope that the welcome would be as good for RL fans as it was for us.

I can definitely see Toronto and Toulouse replacing Widnes and Salford but it's not as if Widnes and Salford bring more than about 100-200 fans anyway so pretty irrelevant in the scheme of things. The novelty of playing a team from Canada is probably worth at least 100 fans on the gate.

| It would certainly be a novelty Jakey.
It could also be a very costly expense for club and fans alike.
Mrs EW was saying before, that Hull KR are playing away at Toronto in middle 8s, and the club are on about doing a top over.
Dependant on the fixture dates, the flights were coming out between around £400 And £700.
Expense or novelty?
Personally I would rather have those 100-200 fans coming from over the Pennines

| Best place to go is the train station bar - great beer and about a 10-15 min walk to ground
Great to be going to Shudds with nothing to play for after such a great game last Sunday...if we keep that level of determination in attack & D we'll shock some teams in top 8s, Miller had a mammoth game summed up by his tackle on Shaul in 1st couple of mins and his 1st try not long after...it was great to see us using the outside inside move that so many NRL teams take for granted that resulted in Jowett's try, easily the best of the afternoon despite tough competition from Fifita's solo & Pauli's powerhouse 1st...even Randell had his best game since his debut...I only hope this Friday is a mirror of last Sunday & not Magic weekend

If these three teams were to come up, there would be more than ourselves who would suffer an impact on the money generated from ticket sales. It would also mean at least one of Leeds or Hull Kr would have been relegated
I would imagine in this scenario that there may be a reshuffle with the league structure up to 14 teams, to compensate for the number of foreign teams (and London), who are unlikely to bring many fans. As well as to keep Leeds or Hull Kr (from the above scenario) within super league. If not, then the funding would have to increase to offset this loss.
It's all hypothetical anyway, as I dont see any more than 2 teams coming up. Toronto being the favourite at the expense of Widnes, I predict Toronto ti finish 3rd behind Leeds and HKR. And then potentially one other at the expense of Salford in the MPG

Leeds may go unbeaten in the middle 8's, they are better than the other 3 SL sides and probably all 4 Championship sides.
Only Toronto will offer any kind of threat and possibly KR if that fixture takes place in Hull.
London and Toulouse are both miles away from SL standard both on and off the field.

| All probably true but IF Leeds did find themselves looking at a season or two in the championship, it would be interesting to see the RLF come up with ideas like expanding Super League to accommodate them.

| Pretty much write off games against the Farts as losses regardless of form. Pleasantly surprised after some games however tonight doesn't look like being one of those occasions.
