| Think Pauli Pauli will get another shot this week. Bit more size to run over the Salford pack. If he’s been dropped and given a wake up call could be a good move throwing him in against a smaller pack with a point to prove. All down to Chester who he thinks will do the job.
Has Tupou played every game over Easter? Be tempting to keep the same bavkline but give him a break (he put a hell of a big shift in vs saints) and throw Johnstone back in. Can’t see many changes otherwise. Be happy that any of those picked could do the job.

Just hearsay but if he is, it would be nice to have him back.
Depends whether he has kept himself fit, and whether he is over his injury.
If he isn't 100% I don't think we need to push him. The other props are doing a great job. If it's hot, England, Huby, Hurst and Baldwinson would be a good option as it will be draining for the big guys.'"
His Instagram story showed that he was leaving Oz yesterday or maybe even the day before, I would expect him to be back.

you would have thought that he would have got his chance over Easter!
Give him a chance or loan him out!

| Looks like we are in the stand behind the sticks this year, or at least the ticket says so.

| Anakin is more effective that PP and Baldwinson put together. He must has done something wrong as everybody knows that it simply cannot be for Rugby reasons.

| So Vasty you have seen Anakin play plenty of times, to be fair we have only seen PP and Baldwinson play on a few occasions. Honestly which of the three is the most dynamic carrier of the ball, who is the best defender, who plays with the most determination, who has the best footwork, who is the fastest, who has the best hands, who hits hardest, who has the best fitness. If your answers to all those questions is not Anakin then you need to shake your head. With that in mind can you genuinely tell me one Rugby reason why PP and Baldwinson are getting in the team ahead of Anakin.
If Anakin is injured then let us know, if he is been disciplined then its none of our business, but him not getting in the team ahead of PP and Baldwinson for Rugby reasons is a crime.

I think if I were MCB I'd be slightly miffed that I didn't get a shot when TJ got rested/dropped against Saints, but hey ho we can't play them all can we?! I may be wrong on this but I think Ashurst, Tupou & Miller are the only ever presents? Ashurst & Tupou deserve a rest, but i'm not sure they'll get one yet. I don't think Pauli has been as bad as some have suggested, but he needed dropping after his 'efforts' against Leeds, i'm still hopeful there's more to come from him, maybe with a bit of sun on his back this week he'll be more fully charged.

| I don't get this "he deserves a shot" or "give him a game
Its not under 11s. The best team plays. Every time.
Sometimes the best team on the day may not be the same best team as last week because of niggles or number of games like at Easter but the best team should always play.
TJ needs to be good enough to keep MCB out. Same with Max, same with Annakin.
No playing them cos the dad will shout at the coach.

Well what is the best team then?! We can all name individuals who we think would make the team perform better, because we all see differing qualities in certain players, maybe certain ones' are more effective against certain opposition. CC started 'rotating' well before Easter, MCB played and scored against Huddersfield did he not? Did he then retain his place for the next game? No he didn't, why not? Would the winger who he replaced in the Huddersfield game not have scored the try(s) he did? What was the point in playing him in that game? Because the coach wanted him to have some game time, so he doesn't agree with your policy. In our 4 game winning run he felt the need to change things, if you actually listen to his reasons, he says things like, 'Joe Arundel will come into my thoughts for this weekend etc, because he needs to play.' He doesn't say, he'll be suited to the opposition etc does he?! I'll say again, if I was MCB I would have been miffed to have missed out, when I am third choice winger, and a centre plays in my position.

However, BT was excellent and could arguably be 1 of our top 3 wingers, as well as in our top 2 centres. I do understand your point though. It's difficult to keep everyone happy and someone will move on eventually to get more game time elsewhere.

Surely it’s simple... CC will decide the 17 based on one the previous week which with your example creates a solid case for MCB but how many days were there between games? We have no clue how training went, how MCB performed, how much effort MCB put in and so on and so on... there will be reasoning behind CC’s choice and it won’t all go down to the previous game. This also goes for everyone, don’t want it to seem like I have an issue with MCB!

Leading on from TheMightyTrin Bill isn’t an out and out centre, he was a prolific winger back in his NRL days...

As I said, there are reasons for rotation over and above who the best players are.
However I'm pretty sure Chester will not be picking someone a) because he is miffed that someone else played instead of him or b) because one of the fans thinks he should 'get a go'.
I'm a fan of MCB and I think he has more about I'm than you think, but the best way to get in the team above the other wingers is to show up and out perform them in training.
As for Tupou, he isn't a replacement winger. If he only played wing I think I'd find it hard to chose but I'd probably put him above TJ post injury. It's a great position to be in.
