| My 17 would be...
Jowitt
Jones-Bishop
B.Tupou
Caton-Brown
Johnstone
Miller
Williams
Huby
Finn
England
Ashurst
Kirmond
Sio
Subs. Fifita, Allgood, Wood, Arona
Bit torn at hooker (shame Moore is likely to be gone) but recall CC suggesting that Sio is not a hooker but a player that can cover there. In effect that is the same as Finn who is slow and defensively not as strong as Sio but has better distribution from dummy half. Think Hirst provides good depth at prop but cannot be ahead of ex-NRL prop and rookie of the year Allgood.
Well Done to MC and others for getting this squad together. It looks impressive and has real ability. Looking forward to Boxing Day!

| Quote: PopTart "When we talk about defence I personally would focus on ball control in attack.
When we are at our worst it tends to be because we gave the ball up too easily and put ourselves under pressure.
Williams and Huby will improve our decision making and hopefully Williams will improve our 6th tackle play too.
It will be no good our monster pack making great yards to the line only to see a pass that wasn't on go to ground, or an aimless kick not chased.
For all our speed in the backs, it's only useful when ball is in hand.
If we improve that, all other areas will improve along with it.'"
Couldn't agree more. The biggest improvements we could make to our defence would be to stop knocking on as much in attack and by not being the most penalised team in the league.

| I think the whole fitness issue was more to do with the stupid amount of work we were giving ourselves at times. Knock on's, penalties and a poor long kicking game meant we were defending for too long, hence looking knackered and then conceding.
As well as being better in defence, I hope we are better at not defending - if that makes sense!

No idea how these things work. Does that mean he's playing seeing as you;re innocent until found guilty.
I'm 50/50 on this morally as I reckon he's a bad un but as it's not proven and as I assume we still have to pay him then we should play him - sadly because there is no room for sentimentality in this world anymore I'm 100/100 on that.

| One thing which we can all do to help market the club which costs both yourself and the club nothing is to comment, like and share the clubs official social media posts
We're all great at posting on here and on some of the closed Facebook groups, but our wider social media friends and family never see these
If we all made an effort to comment on the clubs social media posts then that shows up on your friends timelines too. Some of your friends may already be fans who go to games, but I reckon many of them aren't and if they get exposed to the club through social media it might just pique their interest enough to ask questions or come along to a game

Not unusual to attend and be re-bailed, if no charges are forthcoming by the commencement of the season then he should be playing IMO. Deal with the fall out if it happens later on. I think we'd struggle to get a better hooker in.
He's a loose cannon but it's not my place to judge him. He's a decent rugby player and he happily signs autographs and stops for photos with the kids, that's all I can ask of him. Anything beyond that is for others to deal with.

Good point well made. I sometimes do this. I will do it more.

Cant argue with any of that.

| Think we may be legally obliged to keep Moore , think we should now refer to him as `that pillock `, until his case is heard and the court makes a decision. If found guilty he will be sacked. Sadly we, I suggest , will only have two options at this time. We can suspend him on full pay until March or we can make him train and play until a decision is made in March by the courts. The law is an ass and putS the club in a poor situation. If we suspend that pillock then the club is seen to be doing the right thing but the cost is huge as we will not be able to bring in a quality hooker to replace him. If we play him then its excellent from a rugby point of view as that pillock is a quality player who makes us a much better side when he is on the pitch but we leave ourselves open to criticism from the game in general of not acting in a proper way. I would play him but I have no morals when it comes to Trinity, win at all costs for me, I was desperate for the club to play Smith and the other lad in the MPG against Bradford. I would never have had the guts to make the brave decision that MC made with Smith and his drinking mate. If I was the Hull KR Chairman I would have played Albert Kelly in the MPG against Salford. Hats off to MC and Hudgell they are better men than me.

| He should train and play. At the present he has not been found guilty .Why should anyone from the club feel it incumbent upon them to prejudge?

| I was gonna say this before about Moore and the chance that he could potentially play nearly a full season before The Courts finally hear the case. If when he next attends Court, they adjourn it, or if they're gonna try to throw the book at him, adjourn it to Leeds Crown Court. It may not get sorted out for months after.
For me, seen as I've no detailed information about the incident from either sides, we should play him. Ateotd he's innocent until proven otherwise.

| I've not seen the update, but if he has been re-bailed until March then it will be police bail, rather than court bail. What this means is that he will have to return to the police station in March for a decision on whether he will be charged or not. Assuming he is then charged in March, he would then be bailed to appear at the local (Wigan ??) magistrates court probably a couple of weeks later, however due to the potentially serious charges that he could be facing, then it could be passed up to the Crown Court (Manchester is more likely than Leeds) which is likely to be up to a year further down the line......which all means that he could potentially be available to play for us all season
The RFL match review panel will no doubt be looking forward to getting their claws into him in the meantime, though

| I've been in the position a few times at work, and we usually make a decision based on the nature of the charges; if the alleged offence is something that could bring the company into disrepute or put the vulnerable people we work with at risk (fraud, violence etc) then we either suspend or get rid. If the charges are unrelated to the work we do, we sometimes keep people at work with a risk assessment in place and then deal with it if and when they are actually charged.
In this circumstance, I'd get Mr Moore back to work and put him on a very strict behaviour contract, such that any further breach of the disciplinary code would see him in a hearing, regardless of what the court decides.
