Are you suggesting that any such face to face discussion would result in a violent response as from what I have seen of Anderson there is zero chance of an aggressive response.'"
I would expect any professional Rugby League player would just shake his head in disbelief and walk away if some no mark had the temerity to question their commitment to a sport/club when most others had witnessed the hammer they've taken putting their bodies on the line when fitness had allowed. I suppose, much in the way the majority of readers on here react to the very same childish postings.

| I'd like to see two more props coming in. With scruton and Anderson leaving we need to replace with experienced quality super league proven props. walker and Yates won't make the step up and unless they're on peanuts I'd let them both look elsewhere

What is the clubs budget? Surely a good/decent squad can be put together with the sky funding (£1.85 million if my memory serves)? This doesn't include any revenue the club generated from sales etc.
If you're not spending all of that money, or close to it, on the playing squad I'd genuinely be interested to know where it does go; wouldnt you?
As a side, JK was on talk sport the other day & said his batley squad costs around £150,000. Now I'm not suggesting that a SL club can do the same however it does show how little a squad can be assembled for and how financially poor our game is behind the SL curtain.

Anderson was a good solid prop when he first came over - even his critics surely acknowledge that?
I just don't get it that if we are told a player has injuries and cannot play, then he is branded as a shirker, a softie a big girls blouse etc.
Do you people who criticise him KNOW that he ISN'T injured ?
If, as I suspect, you are basing your comment on ignorance , then give the guy a break and concentrate on those who can play.

| The problem we've got on this as with most posts is that posters are guessing and do not know the extent of Scotts injury, trust me if Scott could play he would and if anybody has played the game, even at amateur level must know what it's like with injuries and to those that haven't played give it a go and see if it changes you view and give Scott a break

| The problem with signing any player who has played in the NRL for a number of years is that the physicality of that competition will eventually catch up with them.
We would be better to sign a player from the NRL development competition who has played to a reasonably high standard but without enduring the effects of first grade on their bodies.

Any player can pick injuries up at any time, not just NRL, unless you know that his injury is from playing in Aussie land and I know you don't, then let him recover and move on to another player.
