Wigan have sold out their allocations for the last four finals we've attended and we're the biggest draw to the greater national casual audience. Nobody in London's going to look at Wakey/Cas/Hull KR playing in the final and decide to spend the afternoon watching it.

If a two tier SL means Wigan (who got 11821 watching you men) don't get dragged down to your level, then I'm all for it. I'm sick of teams that struggled for 50 years to build a roof on their ground spoil my enjoyment of the greatest game. I want to watch quality.

The challenge was not as bad as some are saying and there was more in it than some are saying to get one game with no egp is a farce 2 game with an egp would have been a fair call

That is the type of attitude that is bringing the sport down. Only Wigan must get to Wembley or Old Trafford. We can't risk someone different getting to a final.

What an absolutely shocking decision yet again by one of the most corrupt sporting organisations in the world.
The bloke is and has always been a cheating thug.He deserves a 3 match ban and a good beating at the hands of Monty Betham. Wigan scum.

Shocking decision... how can they possibly justify that sanction? Player welfare is secondary to superstar status.
They admit that it was reckless and that he had no regard for the safety of another player, which he emphasised by being more concerned about his punishment from the ref than the condition of the player he'd just flattened.
So, on RFL logic, if you've been a good boy for a long time you have a licence to do just about anything and then get let off lightly. I've never committed a crime (or at least never got caught). I'm a bit skint so I think I'll go out tomorrow and do an armed robbery. I'm sure the judiciary will let me off with a small fine and a short suspended sentence.
They were going to have a new round on "Question of Sport" where they show a clip of an offence and give the charge grade, then you have to guess the outcome. It was scrapped because no-one got any right.

Loads, pal. That's how I know we had 4 stands with roofs. Just goes to show how my club had a better ground than you men 20 years ago, but still took the opportunity to improve it and move into the 21st century.

Ah, that's the reason behind the "fair" system, to give the "big" clubs an advantage, so that they can make it to all of the finals and ensure that they sell out.
It all looks much clearer now.

The measure on all of these things is, what outcome would you want/ expect if the situations were reversed and had it been Sam who had been taken out with the same type of high shot, would the Wigan fans be happy with the offending player getting 1 game ? I dont think so.
