He should be more unhappy that cheap shot westerman wasn't

I was wrong earlier thinking Gidley was innocent....despite the disciplinary saying he didn't punch his opponent he quite clearly did having seen the slow motion vid on Twitter....crystal clear uppercut so should have been banned like England....no problem with our player being banned but it leaves a sour taste when others get away with it!

He didn't have the EGP as he has had a ban on the last 12 months....

I'm quite happy with England being banned for a game; he shouldn't have ended up in a scrap.

I'm less happy with Gidley's total exoneration; given that the MRP can examine the Moore/Heremaia incident in such forensic detail, one would have thought they could see a) Gidley throw the first punch b) Gidley throw an upper cut and c) Westerman land one on somebody.

All we ask for is consistency, yes?

yes but that would mean upsetting Denis and we couldn't have that, could we?

Lets just hope Gidley and Westerman's good fortune pays dividends for us on Saturday when both of them have blinders against Cas.

I'm again puzzled at who watches these clips, gidley clearly started something, then westerman having a dig, and cox clearly going in with the head, that's just from normal sky footage,
England got what the crime deserved, but how some of Warrington players never got called forward is very very disappointing,
Overal I'm not bothered about actions of England or Moore in regards to a bit of biff, this is a new wakey side cutting its teeth in the top 6, showing we arnt going to be bullied or bossed by the so called big boys, and sometimes it boils over, but RFL need to be consistent.

Just out of interest who was the player that received a ban last season for a crush tackle, it was against Leigh I think. I have seen plenty of so called crusher tackles since the last two from Wigan v Wire. Not seen any player charged with the offence since. We often seem to find ourselves penalised without evidence , remember Dean Collis.
