Oh it was genuine. He got drawn into a slanging match with Alex Rowe of Batley. Some of the language certainly can't be put of here but lets just say the insults were flying.

Apparently his account was hacked last night whilst he was out. The Salford 'rant' was in response to being told Hock couldn't play v Salford - did he play?? Wealth - he is self made and owns 100% of his business that generates £2m pa profits and has great assets and cash.
Derek wears his heart on his sleeve, is very generous and loves the club. It also seems the players/coaches love him also.
Ticket sales were over 1200 on Saturday, and I expect close to 2000 will be travelling over for a game that will either be very close or Wakey will win easily imo, our form has dropped off recently and we are missing players.

There wasn't much between us and Halifax, granted we were slightly better but the reason we won was due to our superior fitness not skill. Leeds never got out of 2nd gear and were never in danger of losing the game, every time Leigh got a score Leeds decided to score again and did what they wanted with Leigh's defence.

We're not Leeds, we don't have their class but if our players decide to show up and play Leigh won't have much of a say in the result
