| If he hasn't got the integrity to walk himself and MC feels he can't afford to sack him then he needs to be sidelined while someone else prepares the team

It will be harder to balance the books in the championship, which is where we are heading if he doesn't make a change.

| It's the 220 k at Belle Vue that's killing us. But only bit left I'd swap Webster for Demetriou tomorrow

| I presume the votes for webster are from cas, Leigh and Bradford fans?
If not, I would love to hear the reasoning from any genuine trinity fans to leave him in charge

| Well being realistic cant see Kear wanting to come back,JD doing well in OZ he wont uproot and come back,Noble we aint no money,Morrison would think turn us down,Harrison possible,Rowley not a hope in hell,Gilmore and Dickens part of the present regime and cant help sort it out now,March like the lad and played well for us but not showing up great as a coach so far. That leaves WILLIE who lets face it hasn't been a coach but has worked under some very good coaches and is the one who I would go for,as for Webster time to go but that wont happen he wont step down and Carter wont sack him so it looks like CHAMPIONSHIP here we come.

| When Carter spoke on the radio, I'd said it was clear that Webster had pulled the wool over his eyes. It's turning out to be the case, Cas sacked Millward when they knew it'd cost them.

| I did say i would give Webster unitl the cup game to turn it round but that will just result in another public humiliation so it is change time. In an ideal world i would like JD but that isn't going to happen. Kear would only be a stop gap until the end of the season so doubt he'd leave Batley for that. Poching has no head coaching experience at any level so would be a big risk given our position but it might pay off. Then again it might not. So for me it would be Morrison who has done well at Dewsbury and was a very good captain for us under trying circumstances. But would he leave Dewsbury mid season? Although if it is a short term fix we need i wouldn't be against Noble as he has a wealth of experience and whatever he cost it would be cheaper than relegation.

I know that, you know that & I’m sure Mr C. knows that, but there’s nothing stopping him sacking it all off & relocating to his Portuguese dream.

| To an outsider looking in the club seems a basket case on and off the field. Would anyone currently in a job in rugby league leave it to move to Wakey right now and especially for what we would be willing/able to pay them? I'm not so sure they would. We would be looking a fairly recently departed coach like Francis Cummins or Tony Rea or another untried one which we don't need. Not convinced that would lead to any improvement. Don't think Noble is doing much other than a bit of consultancy at London so maybe him to steady the ship for a short while IF he is affordable and would come. But the longer it is left the less likelihood there is of anybody wanting it.

Noble is not our man.
He did nothing at Salford and that was with the full cap at his disposal.
Whoever we get, they need to be both knowledgeable and shrewd in the transfer market and a good motivator.

31007_1580947500.jpg EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_31007.jpg |

| The immediate need is to steady the ship. We haven't got a bad squad. Someone like Kear or Morrison until the end of the season, and possibly longer. I reckon JD would give us a go eventually, if he knew he was a long way from head coaching an NRL side. He's proved his spurs and might see the Super League a way of enhancing his head coach credentials. For me, JD would be one for when we are more stable.
Now, it's about short term. Morrison might fancy a rescue job. It didn't harm Kear's CV at all, and only the old board of directors stopped him from landing the Catalan job on the back of what he did with us.

With Noble i was only thinking until the end of the season so being shrewd in the transfer market doesn't matter as we have no money to make any signings. And given our position most players would hold off signing for next season. His previous record proves he can motivate teams.
And he only had a full cap at Salford from the beginning of last season when he had to try and gel a fully new team. He won 4 out of his first 8 and then got the push. I thought he was harshly treated to be honest and should have been given more time. I wouldn't want him long term and he probably wouldn't come anyway but given the ground situation we have to stay up this year or the clubs whole future will be in doubt. We need to buy ourselves some time and I would happily take a quick fix and sort the rest out later.

I think Webster needs to go before the Leigh game, cos we need the revenue from a cup run and him going may act as a short term boost/kick up the back side to the players and give us a chance of beat ing Leigh.
If Webster is still in charge I can't see us winning next week
