Should we win and results go our way next week we i think we could be 4th. If everything went the other way then we could be bottom. Its very tight but by next weekend we will have gone through the quarter mark of the season and we need to start picking up points quickly if we want to avoid the bottom four come the split. When i looked at the fixtures pre-season i thought 3 wins from the first 6 was probably the minimum requirement so we need to pull something out of the bag next week.

My main point is that we're not playing well and have lost a game we could have won today just a week after blowing a chance to beat Sts and coming soon after losing heavily in another game we would have targeted as a win!
If we don't smarten up we will stay in the bottom 4 for the remainder of the season

| To be honest i can't see us being anywhere else other than the bottom four i'm afraid, especially given the injuries are starting to bite. Going by Websters interview on radio leeds we could be struggling for 17 fit players next week.

| Didn't go today, frustrating to lose by 6 points especially when we had trys ruled out by forwards passes and a double movement. Sounds like Tim Smith had a stinker. Sammut in at 6 and Miller at 7 next week? I am not a 'Sammut in' club member but maybe we can see what Miller has learned from Smith and put him in with Sammut against the Giants next week.

| Should be interesting when the glass half full brigade clash with the glass half empty lot.

| Would have taken an awful lot if good fortune to finish outside the bottom four. 24-18 isn't a 50+ point loss, architects of our downfall is a lot better than where we were last year.

| Was a hard slog today and we looked like we lacked creativity. Every time we got the ball wide we created nothing and all the tries seemed to come down the middle. Smith was poor today as was Miller. The forwards put in a good stint and effort was certainly there. Craig Hall was also good again. I'll mention one specific thing but he totally seemed to get that one wrong.
Also, it's already been mentioned but generally the quality of passing in attack is abysmal. It seems to be really sloppy and slow at the minute. It needs sorting asap because it's resulting in errors and just generally slowing our attacks down if we go out wide.

| I don't know what most on here were expecting this season but 5 games in could/should have won 4 of them. With our playing budget it will be a miracle to be top 8 come the end of season and from what I've seen this season if we end up middle 8 I seen enough to see us doing well and staying up finishing top 4 of that.

As I thought then, Dean had two salford players on his outside and two wakefield players so I've no idea why he actually ran away from Morley.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| Smith was very poor today. Needs to make amends for that.
On the flip side Scruton was a beast today. That was one hell of a performance from the big man. Macshane caused havoc and was good.
Thought when we broke late on and Morley? Held down for an age till whole team get back was very lucky not to walk for a professional foul.
Ultimately the effort was there but the execution was not good enough. We dominated the first 20 and should have turned that into some points.
Really dissapointed today.
Sammut will play as Godinet injured and not before time really. We need something different against hudds.

Scruton, Mcshane and Lyne had good games today. Reece seems to have lost a yard of pace, he made a few half breaks where I thought he'd have gone clean through but he seems a bit slower. Hall was also good, I think once Miller, Smith and Hall click we'll see a better Trinity performance.

Yes seems Lyne has lost a yard of pace probably because of the size he has put on. Still quick though.
