I don't think the first half was bad as it seemed, Huddersfield were just on fire and we didn't get anything from the officials. Personally that first half was better than say the challenge cup match against Leeds.

I just think Huddersfield were on fire in that first half. They ran hard and fast ,every pass stuck, every bit of luck went their way and they made hardly any errors. Not many teams would have lived with their first half performance. I don't think we were that bad they were just very good.

However like others have mentioned, we didn't give in and came out and fought back. Just one of those days.

What does it matter all we wanted this season was to finish 12th or above and for some of you to get rid of Agar. I am constantly amazed at how some can continue to be negative, just enjoy what we have done and what we are putting together.

certainly a game of 2 halves that one, we blew you away first half, did everything right,then we seemed to go back to our usual selves for the 2nd, gave you too much room to play, let child penalise us willingly and let you score 3 fairly soft tries.

thought the officials were pants, and child certainly helped you in the 2nd,although probably favoured us in the first.
but well done on making a game of it, the first half was like a training session, at least the 2nd half gave us a wake up call.

Better second half maybe but all too late after the embarrassing effort in the first. As iffy as Child may have been he didn't miss all those tackles or put zero effort into kick chases. Along with the Widnes result the season is now over and it's time to start planning for next season and give some experience to some of the younger players.

Indeed, the only reason I posted what I did is because the thrashing in the first half was used in a transparent defence for Agar's ineptness.

And to top it all Godinet parking like an ar5e, blocking everyone in the top car park with his small 4x4 at fulltime

Everything the giants did came off for them in the first half. There were also 3 errors that gifted them 3 try's (kick off, sammut dropped bomb and Ali losing it on their line). A few of our defenders getting bumped off quite easily wasn't the best viewing but we won the second half so that's a positive

From the boxes it looked a poor crowd. With 30 minutes to go there was barely 1000 in the ground. Giants looked around the 400 mark to me too.
