| Don't want to get into the cheerleader debate particularly, but for me the pre-match entertainment should be the under16s playing their counterparts from the visiting SL team.
Fans spend longer in the ground (therefore they spend more money in the ground....)
We get to see some of the fantastic future WTW lads
The under16s get to play in front of a bigger audience which will add value for them
Away fans have an added incentive to visit Belle Vue
There must be a good reason why this doesn't happen, because to me its a no-brainer.
As for half-time entertainment, I always liked the homefan v awayfan sumo goalkick challenge......

| I recon they should have a lynching at half time just to set the mood for the second half. And every Kick and chase shoot the last man up the field that will make them all the quicker.

| There you go, I said there'd be a good reason! Thanks Snowie!
Unfortunately for those of us that don't live around the corner (BV is an 80 mile roundtrip for me and my family); it means that it's unrealistic to attend both, c'est la vie I suppose....

Cheerleaders mums out in force I see.
I thought I'd made it clear that I don't especially wish for any Pre Match Entertainment - I go for the Rugby (or what passes for it at BV).
However in an attempt to answer the OP I'd prefer professional to the kids. That doesn't mean I wouldn't let the youngsters do their bit I just wouldn't have them together with the pro's it just looked like we couldn't afford our own and borrowed them from Cas which I most certainly wouldn't have done.
Just my opinion.

It's ok having a pre match game but it has to finish in good time to let the players and match officials on to warm up. It's the half hour before the match when the fans need entertaining but the space on the pitch is limited that we need to possibly tweak.

| Just to address the balance a couple of years ago for the away game at the Jungle (which we famously came back from the dead to win) our Dolls (the glamourous older paid ones) had a dance off with the Castleford Claws (or whatever they call themselves) and we blew them away. Swings and roundabouts.

I remember it well - Sarah certainly had her gals well trained then.
You are correct - it is the Castleford Claws - not to be confused with the Castleford Claus - that would be our very own Ritchie Owen.
