| As a neutral, I can't believe the first Bradford try was given, the ball was nowhere near grounded, Kirmond held him up. The worst player on the pitch was Tautai. There is a long way to go and I don't think you could play worse than that. I still think Bradford and London will be the 2 to go this year.
Best of luck for the season

| My thoughts from tonight...
Shocking performance.
Absolutely terrible.
I bet Sky are glad they chose that one so early on in the season. Thursday night thriller? Thursday night horror show more like.
Half time entertainment...? Discuss!
Looked like a very tired team. Salford game really took it out of them. Fresh legs?
Forget the Bulls no try that was awarded a try, we still wouldn't have been anywhere near had it have been disallowed.
Our only set attacking option looked like getting it to Ali and hoping he steamrolled it over. He did it once but it wasn't going to work every time.
Couldn't understand the Sammut tactic. Either start with him or not play him. Too much tinkering in key positions.
Not enough players backing up for McShane and Godinet.
Second half tactics were all wrong. Trying to score off every set after half time when only 4-10 down when we should have been pushing for possession. That said, would we have kept possession? Still haven't learnt that coughing up possession and giving away penalties leads to conceding points.
Why play Walshaw at prop!!! for less than 10 minutes? Agar to blame for effectively playing 16 men... Yet again! Playing Ryan at centre too? Why?
Still not convinced by our coach and he's starting his third season with another Elston 'Brucey bonus' deal lined up. 3 or 4 more years is it?
Still we can't handle being favourites.
Think we may just sneak a win at Wigan next week.

| It was a pathetic performance, the fact it was on Sky made it even more embarrassing.
The Cats bar shambles didn't go down too well either.
Beer sales must be down massively on last year.
4,049 attendance. Pretty much expected but its going to be a lot worse against Catalans.
Early days admittedly but its all doom and gloom at the minute.

| And the early leaders in this seasons scapegoat sweepstake are
Lyne and Mathers, who probably made fewer errors than many others but, they have become targets for our "supporters"
Tonight was mickey poor all round and very disappointing.
2 poor teams and a poor ref, even the video ref was poor.
On the plus side, we have a couple of extra days to get ready for Wigan !

| No doubt our coach will give the players ( I use those terms incorrectly as our coach can`t coach and our players can`t play ) several days off before the Wigan game. It doesn`t matter though as Wigans second team will stuff us and their under 19`s would win with ease.

| I'm not defending last nights performance but the first 10 mins of penalties killed us and we panicked and lost the game plan after that. Attendance I was in the north stand and was quite impressed with the crowd to say there were only a couple of hundred bulls fans, I thought the crowd was bigger than announced.
Anyway we can't play any worse than that and I think we have the makings of a good team, this is the Wakefield Trinity Rollercoaster that was a big dip last night but we are good enough to pick ourselves up. Up the mighty Trin. TRINITY FOREVER

| I only managed to watch the first half last night before turning over to Suits, which at least was entertaining. This was Rugby League at its most boring. I should imagine at the next SKY board meeting, someone will have to defend their actions in actually paying out good money for this nonsense appearing on our screens.
A crowd of only around 4000 says it all.

The crowd was in before the game! A crowd of consisting of the 100 or so Bulls fans would've said it all.

| It may have been poor quality but these relegation games are compelling if only for fans of the two teams playing.
I thought Wakey lost it with their ill-discipline and errors but you surely can’t play that badly every week? There’s plenty of improvement in that side. One thing I noted though was there are quite a few players in the Wakey line up that are almost guaranteed to make an error in every game (Mathers, Sykes, Tautai, McShane and Sammut).

| I think people may be slipping into the "Tim SMith" method of thinking here. I hate to reitterate but, it's no good "having a good game other than the tries they let in"
I thought Reece Lyne actually ran the ball out well last night, but teams will continue to kick to him KNOWING that there's 6/12 points coming at some point if you persevere.
we watch a game where each metre gained is massive - it's no use to gain a few extra metres every 6/7 runs to then fling a ball to the opposition for a walk-in.
The cut and thrust for me was that there was absolutely no confidence in the decision making. The squad has quality and showed it for 40 minutes on Sunday - sadly we are in a season where good performances count for sod all without 2 points

| I think the game was always there for the taking despite how much ball we put down.
It was lost in 5 mins when sammut was just short of the line, followed by the last Bradford try from another error.
I think lyne just does not look keen enough, and mathers is becoming a liability as his confidence appears to be shot.
I would like to think that sooner or later someone else deserves their chance to impress.

| Why such venom towards Lynne?
He only made one mistake(admittedly a costly one after doing the hard job of taking the ball well).
Other than that he had a sound game.
There were experienced players who had abslolute stinkers.

| did not watch did not look for the result until now 4049 I made my decision and it looks like many more did from both clubs
Not the club I have an issue with hope Wakey pick up and get into the 12
The game is being run by idiots from grass roots to the SL the standard on the refs gets worse my customer a Wigan fan tells me that Hicks was a disgrace in the first half and gave the Bulls everything something’s never change

He made two errors, but your right he wasn't alone. But I think it is a case of constant below average performance since he arrived coupled with big mistakes at crucial times (see this week and last week) that have lead to peoples frustrations. Put it this way he seems to get more chances than some of our other young players get.
