Admittedly, when you lay it out like that it doesn't look as bad. But still, we cant roll with just 18 players. Any injuries and we're screwed, although i do expect atleast a few loan 'singings'

Can't see Mathers & Raleigh going anywhere, they aren't going to walk away from their contracts and which other superleague club would want them? The others wouldn't surprise me though.

Its not a bad starting team. It has gaps and needs strengthening but its hardly the worst team we've seen a Belle Vue. Its a shame to see him go, but lets get it into context Poore is a good player not a world beater. He played with spirit, he got stuck in, but he gave away a lot of penalties. If as reported we were paying over the odds its good to get the wage of the payroll. An opening for someone else to step up.

| Quote: Agent XIII "Do you think Agar will have any say on the players we sell because if you look at the list other than Poore who apparently went for free we have received a fee for the rest. It may be just a coincidence that every player Agar was happy to lose went for. a fee. At least the club have stopped peddling the usual excuse that the players asked for a move when in fact reading the Poore statement the club had agreed the move, I guess direct with his agent without telling him. I agree we had a good team but now we have no team because the gaps to fill are growing. We have lost three props, our playmaker and hooker which we know are so easy to fill.
I can't believe there are still some on here who still think the board know what they are doing. I can't wait to see the quality of the signings if there are any. They certainly know how to encourage supporters to think "they are doing such a good job I've got to give them my money".
I wait the next piece of positivity from the board.
I must admire that looking at the posts above that they have produced a team sheet and that contains some uncertainty. I guess we have just to hope that we can go through the season without any injuries, please stop trying to make a silk purse out of a sow,s ear but I suppose it keeps you happy.'"
Call me a mug but I believe that the board are doing what they have to to ensure the survival of the club.
You constantly criticising the people doing that doesn't help and you have failed on numerous occasions to give us your alternative plan.
Yes, next years team is going to be worse quality than last year but if it is all we can afford then that's what we have to do - unless your alternative plan (yes that again!! the one that only exists in your head) can provide some finances to allow us to spend more.

the 3 big earners I should think they are all replaceable but I do agree with you AL that should be it. Maybe we can keep Cockyne now. Hope Kirmond stays I really do we may aswell burn the season tickets if not. I really do hope MR Carter is genuine we cannot go through another damaging ownership. The fans deserve better but we are the ones who always suffer. Mr Carter has gone quiet his Q&A session is a complete farce the club cannot even give a working email address its a complete joke.

| Inevitable to be honest. we were asked to support our club by buying season tickets. A lot of season ticket holders from last year for whatever reason have chosen not to renew. For me this simply confirms the trouble with society today in that too many people want things for nothing, bearing in mind last years prices were a giveaway. The truly genuine supporters have purchased their tickets already and will continue to support the club through thick and thin at whatever level the club finds itself at. If you have chosen not to renew then please stop winging, the club told you what would happen and regretfully they are being true to there word on this one.

If these are the only 3 to go we can count ourselves lucky. I think there will be 2 or 3 more yet though.

This.
Those who haven't renewed but are moaning about the club not making money haven't really got a leg to stand on. The club told us, the supporters, how we could raise money for the club. Only 1600 have taken that on board.
It's no good waiting to see how many players are going to be sold first, by that time it will be too late. Buy a season ticket and help prevent the sale of these players.
One can only hope there is a mad rush before Christmas.

We've had two seasons of cheap tickets, savings of £135 per adult supporter, potentially a large chunk of the £400k under capitalisation. The situation was in the supporters hands, they have chosen to hold back so now the income has to be generated some otherway. Whilst I understand the disappointment I'm not sure why there is an outrage over the player sales.

well said Senoj and King stret ! club have been pleading with folk to buy tickets , have set up amazing payment plans and prices started at only £150 which equates to £11.50 per game ffs how cheap do you want it before you buy ? Fans saying not buying going to see what happens...well look whats happening....happy now ? Its not all the fans fault its the mess left by the previous regimes . I am not happy re the situation and will cry if Kirmo is next to go but for all you moaning what solution would you have come up with ?

The alternative, I think, was to BS the supporters even more and pretend that the club is making money and will never have financial troubles ever again. There was some merit in the initial point (not divulging the full extent of the circumstances) but even if they kept shtum about the situation the winding up orders, CCJ’s and advances of central funding pretty much spelt out the knife edge the club was on.
I do find it odd that a supporters of 40 years plus does not have a thought or comment on any other subject but of the ‘ineptness’ of the current board.
