When he announced he was coming back from Aus many on here were hoping for his return, but after watching how both Leeds & West’s used him I was relieved he went elsewhere.
Hull seem to have a knack of signing marquee crocks . |

what a dire game not helped by the bbc that couldn't create an atmosphere for the telly, while watching the game I noticed that the crowd volume was hardly there in the background

Some inexplicably dire performances from key individuals for Hull - Tickle, Crooks, Crookes, Miller and Holdsworth were woeful. Their defence saved them from an absolute spanking, together with Wigan's very pedestrian game-plan.
A real shame to see Ellis leave the field again - he is very clearly a spent force; I wouldn't mind being on his hourly rate mind - how many minutes has he managed for them this season after pulling up in the warm-up on his debut?
