I don't like your posts but on this one you're right I have no doubt we have offered and payed bigger money for players I rate even less than Mason.
Wake up folks we have been overspending big time. It took ted ten years before he couldn't pay HMRC!

Oh well, fair play to him. Our loss was Cas' gain...

| Well done Keith for not taking it lying down. He gave seven years decent service at Huddersfield, and maybe he was paid well for it, but he smelled a rat and decided to wave it in their faces.

No one is on mega money. We're lowest salary cap spend in the comp bar possibly Salford this season.
And if AG hadn't had to honour a massive amount of the previous regimes debt we'd have been a lot better off!

Its a pity you have just said that as you have now lost all credibility. The guy started with a clean slate that's how insolvency works. The Spirit of 1873 is a totally new company and nothing whatsoever to do with the last one.
This also means that any debts from the old company can't be passed on to Spirit of 1873.

You've been tragically wrong in the past but hey throw enough darts you will hit the bullseye in the end.
It's possible but I can't see it but nice try all the same.

Ok you take me to where it says we are on the lowest - by that I don't mean a club statement.
How do you know the figure for this year anyway they are not published as the accounts are not yet settled.
Don't be so ridiculous.

| I was shocked to find Cas are spending about 80% of the cap (based on the meeting at the start of the year) some of the guys I'd expect to be on £30-50k per year are probably on double that. comfortably.
Mason will have taken a pay cut from 95k when signing for cas, but not a massive amount less

Cas spend about 1.2Million on the Cap. And we can afford no more, In fact JF has to step in to help fund that. This is due to overinflated contracts we have given out year on year.
Mason not on a massive amount less, Yet in the reports coming from the court yesterday, He is on 41'500 - And it was highly unlikely they'd have managed to get him a contract above 55k - So I would say he is on a lot less.
Rumours of Richard Owen 100k, Webster 100k, Gilmour 100k, Shenton 120k, Chase 180k - That would take up half of our cap ! - And show how little some of the others must be on, As Carney, Millington, Hauraki won't be on peanuts.

| Only just spotted Fielden's comments in court. You wouldn't want him in the trenches with you would you.
I've never had any Mason love but I look forward to the Huddersfield v Cas game now. Will Fielden and Mason both be playing?
I suddenly find myself on Mason's side.

Don't think either will be playing Poptart. It would make big box-office though.

If they are injured they could have a prematch crutch kicking competition.
