whichever way you take this, reading the first two pages of this thread shows that last years optimism is waining fast and we are getting fed up of being in what looks like a rut.

Washbrook not done a thing this year he can tackle but thats it, hes totally dead with ball in hand. ITs ok though I trust your judgement because you said Molloy will make it after 10minutes of him running up and down the touchline.

Possibly what AG is not quite able to grasp is the passion and fanaticism of Trinity fans and the long years of suffering the Trinity faithful have had to endure.
After all he is , by his own admission, relatively new to RL.
Thus he can be excused to a certain extent the way he builds up our hopes.
Perhaps what he perceives as important and great positive strides forward are not such a big deal to us.

Sometimes the reverse may be true.
Things happen behind the scenes that we, as supporters, aren't bothered about but, they are essential to the running of the club.
Perhaps A.G has a management perspective, rather than that of a paying fan and that is exactly how it should be.

Personally I don't like twitter or facebook, although there are some (rare) occasions when they are useful.
If it's important, there will be a formal announcement.

Maybe, we should learn to be patient.

He commits the sin of being relentlessly positive - that obviously doesn't sit well with many dyed in the wool miserable gits who follow RL, but that's clearly just the way he is.

I think it's somewhere between that and the other end. The hyping of the massive announcement being the lottery meant everything else is judged with suspicion, rightly or wrongly.

I just wish he'd never come out with the 'lifelong fan' or whatever the phrase was when he first took over that was obviously not the whole truth.
