| Quote: Shifty Cat "It's funny how people see things & I couldn't disagree more about Poore. After a slow start he's been with Amor the 2 most consistent props we've got and has had some excellent games for us. When he's on the field we look a far better side, with the go forward he creates and how many men he commits to the tackle, as well as being a very good tackler. It's been evident when he isn't playing how much we miss him, like against Hull the other day.
Not sure if you're talking about games missed or minutes in the pitch, he's played in 10 out of the 13 SL games and does about 40 to 45 mins a game which is about average for a prop, so I'm not sure I get you're point tbh.'"
Bang on Shifty.
Poore is the teams pack leader and Amor is our 2nd best prop.
Raleigh last season was superb but, hasn't got back to that level and Wilkes is steady (aside from his try at Widnes which is one of this seasons highlights)
So Poore for me is our stand out prop. Yes, we could have done without him getting sent off at Wigan but, that says more about the consistency of our refs than it does about Poore. (Magiure committed the same offence but didn't get sent off, Wardle of Hudds same offence and got sent off also)

Justin Poore has been just that poor!
Highlights been punching Bailey/Farrell.
He spends more time on the sideline then the pitch.
How he played 3 state of origins is beyond me!
If he wants to go back to OZ fight for his origin shirt we should let him!
It will be interesting to see if FIT he makes the exile 17.
I think he can forget about playing for England in the world cup!
I saw a picture of him in the lake district maybe hes signing for barrow/whitehaven/Workington???
Or he's the fella chosen to lead the new Cumbrian franchise into super league!
On the plus side we get to keep Amor who's are best prop anyway!'"
This is so far from reality I assume you are trying a wind up.
He plays longer minutes on the field than the other props, certainly in the first stint.
He's played 10 league games out of possible 13
He's hardly a sicknote
The other teams stack up against him, which is a sure sign they think he is something.
I checked the stats and he is clearly no mug. He misses less than most and has hardly any errors (2 for the season)
Ironically Wilkes and Amor look good on the stats too. I think we are blessed with the props we have, just don't have anything after that. Raleigh has dropped off a bit in my opinion but on his day can be the best of them all.

| Poore has been a good signing. He is a pack leader and looks to be putting in good shifts of late.

I agree apart from him being the pack leader. I'm not even sure what that is but I'd say Raleigh was more a leader and more creative than Poore. Poore to me is a big strong up and down prop, just what we need.

You cannot be serious, poore after a slow start has been outstanding, we went to hull and him missing was a major issue in the game, we really missed his ability to consistently suck in 3 players to make the tackle and stand up to them. their pack just had too much power, amor has been hitting form, wilkes has played well since coming back in,raleigh has yet to recreate last years form but carries the ball tirelessly - Poore is the power in the front row. More time on the sidelines - he turned his ankle ffs
For all of that the bailey smack was a highlight

| Poore is a quality no nonsense hard running tackling big up and down front rower. Did you see him run over the top of the Hull KR hooker at home? hopefully he does more of the same this weekend.
If wakefield are to progress over the next 12 months they need him at 8 plus another front rower to back up the ones we've got for real go forward. That's how the space is created for the backs. If our pack aren't on top or at least on a par then our backs have got no hope.
You never know a good run into the play offs with an in form Poore and an apperance for exiles could help him into the England World Cup squad especially if Burgess brothers, Graham, Crabtree and Morley are injured.

| His dad is English, think there is at least some bloodline there unlike Rangi Chase. For me that counts more than you've lived in a country ex number of years.
PMSL if he did play for the exiles well and battered Crabtree and others and there were a few comments then made in the media about his English heritage. Plenty of experts on this forum that don't seem to recognise what he provides when fit and playing well. It's recognised by Amor in the paper this week whose opinion I value more.

| I think a few don't understand what he brings to the game but we all see it differently.
I'm happy with what i've seen so far.
