but if he does go back to NRL at least he will get a game every week whether it is the top team or the NSW cup, which he isn't able to get here. All the best whether you stay with WAKEFIELD or not, he seems to be a nice enough lad. Bet he will be sad to leave our winter - not.

The problem with Isaac at the minute is that we have nowhere to play him. Even if Sykes got injured Isaac has got no gametime under his belt and stands little chance of getting any to get himself match ready due to the new junior/reserves set up meaning he can't play there and the fact that he is a quota player means he can't even go out on dual reg.
As said earlier if we hadn't been desperate for a kicker then Isaac would have had a chance to develop in the first team last year. That didn't happen and now he is going to find it extremely difficult to break in for the reasons stated above - where is he ever going to get "match" fitness and readiness from??

I have nothing against him but I do think it would be better for all parties if he could move on.

Not sure there will be much, people dont just leave contracts, he will have been paid off (up to £30k before he pays tax on it) and had 2 years to go. I think any pay off still counts on salary cap so im not too sure what this has actually achieved

possible but id guess unlikley, he's not played for a year so i'd guess he wont be on more in Aus than he is here, but as i said thats a guess.

But possible if he can get a similar wages as to what he's on here, and back to the Southern Hemisphere, there can't be much worse things for a sportsman than not playing and being thousands of miles from friends and relatives!

Good luck to IJ, clearly it's not happened for him here for numerous reasons.
A return home seems to be the best end result for both parties.

Best thing for him. Back home and getting some game time, he was never going to develop here.
