| Had a great evening in hospitality sat with the young Hull KR fan featured in the FanZone section of the programme and his mum and dad. Lovely family who had a great time apart from the result who were a pleasure to be with.
Can highly reccommend the 1873 Suite if anyone fancies it for a special event or occassion. Its fantastic value for money.

Might not be in five minutes, my other posts seem to be going 'missing'...
I thought attendance was great tonight, the team did well and the KR fans I spoke to seemed spot on, far better than the Wakey one who had a go at me and my mate for cheering the lads on!!!

Mine have been going missing too. I then noticed the site was logging me out everytime i viewed a topic and returned to the main board. I clicked the 'automatically log me in every time I visit' box and its now working fine....

| On a side note - those who were bagging Poore after the Bradford debacle must be feeling a little foolish, thought he was excellent today.

| Enjoyed the game and had some good banter with the Hull lot.
I thought that both Poore & Raleigh set the tone early on and the rest of the forwards carried on throughout the game. They both put really good stints in the first half, making very good yards and tackled their socks off. We did seem to switch off in the last 7 or 8 minutes before half time when we went 3 scores up, which needs to be looked at and again in the second half we were a bit lackadaisical at times.
Amor looked really strong and fit when he came on which was good to see, hopefully he will be alright for next week, looked nasty at the time and he's lucky he didn't end up with a broken jaw from Paea's head.
Both Mathers & Cockayne had a very good games, both always looking for work & the latter finished very well.
Aiton was his usual consistent self and Collis had a good game apart from a missed tackle which led to their second try.
Importantly Tim was back on the park pulling the strings, along with Sykes we had a very good kicking game, although he will take a bit of flack for that hand off from Paterson where he ended up face planting the deck.
Anyway good to get points on the board & onwards & upwards.

| Thoroughly enjoyed tonights game. A real battle with plenty of effort from both sides. Hope all the injured players are soon back in action.
I even thought Ganson wasn't too bad.

You need to tell your stewards this, they are a bit over zealous at times. I was stood with my wife and two young grandkids next to the bunch of lads in fancy dress and in the main all these guys did was have a drink and a laugh, but the stewards seem to think this was a reason to surround them and continuously have a pop at them. The two lads in the horse suit were force ably ejected, even though they apologised for the pitch antic, which was over the top.
I know they have a job to do, but a little common sense might have been applied to prevent a backlash. To give these lads credit, not once did they rise to it and remained jovial throughout and even your own supporters were defending them and having photos taken with them, especially the guy dressed as Jimmy Saville.

I like a zero tolerance approach from our stewards. I saw the blokes with the costumes and every other word I heard from them as they left the ground involved swearing and they were drunk . If my young lads had come with me then I would have wanted them ejecting. Its not what I want my children to hear at a family game.

Was stood next to them all the game and never saw one incident of what you described, one even offered a steward a chip and he just shoved him.

I think you're being a little naive to think that no bad language is used at a RL game in an environment where differing opinions are always going to happen then it is always likely that expletives will be used to express ones opinion.
On the whole the KR fans seemed to be OK, although a good number of them were totally plastered, the walk back to my car through he cemetery saw a number of them struggling to walk and a couple falling flat on their faces, but this is no reason to ban them, I like a lot of people like to have a drink and have been known to fall over due to it's effects. As for the guys in the pantomime horse costume, I 100% agree in them getting ejected from the ground, however they did manage to get back in
TBH with 9200 fans I thought there was always going to be the chance of trouble but with the exception of a scuffle in the western terrace toilets I think it went pretty well, however I don't think I've ever seen as many police outside the ground following a game, maybe there was a bit over the top tactics.
Finally and on a repetitive note, the turnstiles were a fiasco once again and it seems the security didn't know what was the correct procedure, I walked with my 2 sons to the western terrace gates (as I usually do) and was confronted by a security guard (with the number 100 on his hi vis) who quite abruptly told me I couldn't enter the ground there as they were for away fans only, now my understanding is that Wakefield fans could enter the ground through any gate and were allowed to stand anywhere in the ground, I pointed this out to the security guard, but his reply was not only abrupt and dismissing but extremely rude, at the end of the day we are customers and the security guards should understand this, there are ways to speak to people in certain circumstances but this guy got it completely wrong, it is not surprising that people kick off when upstarts talk to them like they are something that has been scraped of the bottom of their shoe, I will be writing a formal letter of complaint regarding this to the club, also there were plenty of KR fans in the northstand which clearly shows this new segregation policy didn't work, luckily there was no problems with incidents in the northstand
