| If you listern to the rumor machine Hull are signing players from every team in SL. Sam Thompkins will be next up. I think that if Leeds have no intention of selling KA then he will make his own mind up during or after the play offs. I hope he decides to stay with WTW and progress with us to bigger and better things.

| I dont really understand the resentment towards Adam Pearson. He was bought a club, highlighted that the investments made by the previous board in the current 1st team squad resulted in playes being paid inflated wages, whilst investing hardly anything into the youth of the club - to get players through like Ben Crooks, Chris Green, Tom Lineham etc is fortunate, but below that there isnt much until we get to our 15's and 16's who we have high hopes for.
To get a reward on his investment, he needs gates to increase as they have dropped over the last few years. TO do this he needs to signal his intent to the fans and to the players that the club wants to be at the top and highlighted areas where we needed improvement. I dont the club have really done anything wrong, they have highlighted players, and if under contract, they have made a bid for that player. It is up to the other club if they accept or not. The rumour mill has been wild purely down to the fans, the club have time after time refuted some of the rumours that have gone around, and i think there will be some surprises when the names are announced.

| Quote: Tongan Mafia "If we are going on this season squads I would agree. But if the signings that Fc have signed are to believed for next season and the way Pearson wants to build the club for the foreseeable future. Then we should be a team like Warrington or Wigan in not to distant future. Hence why Amor wants in with the chance to win stuff.'"
It’s not just about a squad on paper though, is it?
I would say the Hull squad this year is ‘on paper’ far superior to Trinity’s, they are already, presumably, paying up to the cap, however, I think there’ll be the same tears before bedtime.
With the exception of Ellis, I’ve no idea who Hull have signed up for next season, but unless they’ve got a Thurston or Inglis coming I can’t see them spoiling the party.
If Amor wants to head off to the bright lights of Hull, good luck to the lad, however, he’s hardly the designer-in-chief of our mini revival.

Only Joe Arundal from Cas at the moment. Although if Rangi Chase gets his VISA approved then that deal is already agreed, with Daniel Holdsworth and Jason Crookes likely to be announced next week. Then the rumours start - Scott Taylor, Bateman, Whitehead, Galloway, Johnson, Amor blah blah blah

| Only time will tell what happens to FC and cup glory but Pearson is trying to build a squad up to challenge for trophies and Amor will have a better chance at Hull then the Cats. Cannot blame the guy for choosing us instead of staying but now its in Wakefields court if they decide to cash in or not.

Conversely, we could also point out how little some of the Hull support want him. Hopefully their coach had the same opinion.

Ah, but here’s the rub.
Due to the ridiculous nature of his contract, it appears to be the Loiners who will benefit financially.
If I was Amor & wanted to win stuff, then Leeds would be my destination.
I just don’t think they value him as highly as you appear to do.

All very worthy and commendable; he's still an arrogant tosspot though.

| Quote: supercat "Millward had some unkinds words to say about Pearson on radio last night. It does seem like Mr Pearson doesn't mind rubbing people up the wrong way. Think he needs to learn that the transfer market doesn't work like the football one. There is a bigger pool of clubs and players to deal with in football but not in rugby. This guy could potentially put other clubs off doing business with him and burn any bridges in future.'"
millwards petty outburst last night showed that he doesn't even know what is going on at his own club let alone ours,(fc)! maybe he should engage brain before mouthing off at pearson as both hull and cas agreed a deal for chase to leave, it was only the visa hold up that stopped the deal going through! no doubt the pressure of finishing bottom of superleague is getting to old basil!

| A post on the total RL forum suggests Saints have made an 11th hour bid for Amor.

| I rate Amor and hope he does stay but if he wants to go elsewhere then so be it; I just hope he takes note of all the others who thought we weren't good enough yet still achieve little at 'larger'' clubs!
