Nearly in the same league as Jarrod Hickey.

Bang on slugger, after this latest nonsense I see no point in the RFL even risking a licensing procedure next time around.
On a side note sky sports are suggesting the bulls did not get paid yesterday, apologies if this has got a mention elsewhere!!

I recon we are looking at a 13 team SL for the remaining 2 years of this (the final) licencing period. P & R back on for 2015 and just in time for Bulls to come back up. This scenario would probably keep the likes of Fev and Halifax happy who I think will openly admit they are not ready for SL yet. There is also a bit of a push for a SL1 and SL2 consisting of 10 teams in each but I think this is light years away IMO.

| For me it's self interest all the way. We need Cas more than we don't.
If they went I don't reckon we'd pick up many fans of junior players - perhaps an open run to franchise is the only real bonus.
We don't need another expansion club, the RFL might but we don't.
We do need a traditional big derby and a local rival with all the interest that brings. This for me outweighs any advantage in Cas going under.
However as Jack says, the existing management are lower than a snakes belly and I'd be loathed to help them - but if push and shove we might have to.

We ain't a charity case yet Vasty, and unlike some clubs (ie Bulls) we haven't got the begging bowl out either.

| I'm still of the view that Cas will scrap GH, move to NM, then trouser the brass from the WR sale to pay of their debts, buy out RW, restructure the club from top to bottom and buy some decent players.
That's what I'd do - it's a great opportunity that will never come around again.

Never said you were you sensitive young booby.
I was just taking sides on the stuff Cas hope the wither and die and the hope it all turns round next season argument.
Oh, and you are a bit of a charity case on the pitch at least

The BOD at Cas Tigers know that moving to NM would be a total disaster and attendances would be better in NL1 staying at Wheldon Road. Its a non-starter and would only happen to a club been kicked-out of their ground. i.e. Swinton playing at Bury or Bulls potentially playing at Valley Parade.
