For my money Mellers is a winger and thats where I see him playing next season

| Kick Mathers out hes the most over rated full back to pull on the shirt at wakefield. Smith can provide very good cover.

| Ignoring his awful debut for us, this could be a decent signing; proven quality, good utility value and just enough dog in him to inspire the players around him.
I'll judge it when he takes the field in 2013, after he's used the off-season to shed a few pounds and sharpen up his game.

| Just to wet your appetites of what he is capable of just take a look on youtube the GFs 2007-08-09,and especially 2008, that 40-20 probably won Leeds the game

| not playing first team rugby loses the edge..i think smith made a couple of good breaks against wigan and think he is an excellent signing..lets move from the overpaid aussies please! my personal opinion is that we should be looking towars next season and if we don't get to the play offs then we need to look at the coach..let agar have a full season with his team and then judge..

| Can't believe people are so quick to slag off a signing. Been in and out of Leeds side over past few months and not yet hit the straps but if he starts playing anything like he can do then we've got a good player on our books. Still only 25 British and has big game experience, would have only been able to dream about such a signing this time last year so just goes to show how far we have come as a club.

| I remember 2007 midseason,Smith must have been a naughty boy,and Tony Smith the disciplinarian made him water carrier among other things, and he never looked back after that up to going to RU 3 SL rings 1wcc medal international recognition Harry Sunderland trophy.I dont know why some players lose it when they go to RU especially the short time he was there, but it was definately Tony Smith who sorted Lee Smith out

He was ok ,made an handling error in the first half, maybe the pass was touch and go,and Shudds scored, but apart from that his ability to stay out of touch in the second half led to a Trin try.

| He needs to be much better if he's gonna keep wearing those ridiculous boots. Not sure what he's done to earn a contract but he must be flying in training cos he's certainly not been running!
