| As I_A suggests, I think people are taking a punt based on probability following recent news, and passing it off as fact.
I do think the decision has been made, and for some inane reason (protocol) we have to wait until decision day, thus slowing the build down unnecessarily.
But thems the rules, hopefully we won't care come Tuesday.

If the person I know is freely pedalling this information then I can only assume that those closely involved (TRB etc) must also already know the decision?
Not heard anything, but their are some Twitter accounts that are unusually quiet!
I suspect someone knows, but they ain't sharing!

| Nail on head Phil, think your right, surely someone at Wakefield council knows and if they do then others are sure to know.

| I think someone in Cas knows, hence the shift in desperate naysaying on the Cas forum from it being passed to it ever being built.
The latest line of wishful thinking is that the stadium will bankrupt us as the SMC will charge us a fortune to play there and take all the money from pie and beer sales; conveniently ignoring of course that the SMC is a not for profit organisation, established with the welfare and security of WTW as it's main function.
I like the smell of desperation in the morning!

| So,....... a shared stadium with another RL team!
Who would have thought of that a couple of years ago?

It's a community stadium so the possibility of it being shared has always been on, if another club from within the community wished to join in.
As far as I am aware there is no change in the stance of either of our neighbours, they both have plans of their own.
We only have to look at Leeds to see that being well down the pecking order in terms of pitch priority isn't good, especially for the surface, so long may we plough a lonely furrow.
Predictions for tomorrow?

Better than sharing with an 'all pile on' team...

Their are some benefits of being involved with a RU team, such as passing on half of Kevin Sinfields wages, helps with the salary cap I should imagine.

Sir Kevin does not concern himself with such details. There are minions to take care of such mundane matters. It is the honour of captaining the premiere Rugby League team of this century, which is the raison d'etre the great man takes to the field!
Tonight's game? Well, you really are due a win, and given that we are stuck in our now customary mid season dip, this could be your best chance of getting close.
I'd settle for a good performance from our lot, but if we only squeak past you with a dodgy try in the last couple of mins, you can have the moral high ground tomorrow!
