A 3 game ban is absolutely ridiculous no matter what anyone says. The contact was made due to Silverwood being in front of the defensive line, and if anyone can believe that the 'contact' made was worthy of a disciplinary, their a tad disillusioned. |

With such a good argument I'm instantly convinced!
The rules say no contact. End of. He could easily have avoided him. Got what he deserved. The club and coach accepted it. Why can't you.

The judgement also says that he showed continued petulance to the ref following the incident; classic Bailey. |

Was Ganson involved ?
I don't agree that TMFMISL should be punished for making THAT contact with SILVERWOOD . I would go so far to say that wouldn't want the golden child/ratboy from Wigan punished if he were ever to do exactly the same as TMFMISL did . We neither need nor want the match officials abused verbally or physically . But I think that the official must accept a reasonable amount of the blame for the incident . If the incident was worth a three match ban then surely Mr Silverwood should have taken immediate action during the game . He can't play the 'I didn't have a clear view of the incident' card on this occasion .
Didn't Ali give a ref a pat on the shoulder ? Did he get a three match ban ? He deliberately made contact with a match official .

think about it from a different angle. if silverwood had made a meal of it ( as in the incident with paulo di canio in the football incident ) bailey would have been out for the season. as it happened silverwood decided to keep his feet.

This morning I went found a sticker in the back window of one of my cars . It says [sizeTOGETHER[/size WE ARE [sizeSTRONGER[/size ..WILDCATS WAKEFIELD TRINITY At the bottom it has www.westyorkshirewindows.co.uk . Probably put in there by a mate that knows I'm a Leeds fan , and I ever lock my car .
Anyone want it ? |

any player found guilty of abusing/physical contact with the ref should be made to take a ref's badge within six months of the offence or lose the right to play.
