| absolutly peeded off now after saying take it easy in p e at school to the lad I have had to pick him up from school with a badly swollen knee slipped on the astra turf
he's now got a race against time to get the swelling down and prove his fitness
bloody school got to question their ability to have any common sense up there

if no one fancies going xmas shopping with the wifey get up to Belle Vue on Sat and Sun as there is going to be a spectacular showing of junior rugby
this weekend.
£3 and £1 in better than queuing in the shops

| well it looks like my lad is going to get the run out tomoz just hope the knee holds out we managed to reduced the swelling with with a pack of frozen peas and massage and also a trip to see Lee Robinson at physiowise.
got to take my hat to the lad as it probably been the worst bruising and swelling I've seen him have but he wants this cup so bad after losing to Hunslet Parkslide and Oulton Raiders
now if you want to see a star in the making come and watch our stand off
this lad will go pro and I can alike him to Sam Tomkins without the childish attitude

| Going down this afternoon so young sponge can soak up the atmos before tomorrow (& to cheer on Stanley u14's , cos we know one of the players ).
Can I just say a big thanks to everyone who's wished us well for the game tomorrow - I don't think they'll let anyone down & even trained in the howling gale the other night !
So big thanks to you all & let's hope it's a great weekend for everyone

Before knocking Tomkins off his perch I believe the lad will have to be challenging Rocky Hampshire for a shirt who could well be a International stand off in the not too distant future

| Went to the under 15's final ( put 14's earlier but nevermind )- Stanley rangers won easily enough on the final scoreline , but it was unfair on the Westgate forwards who all played really well , setting up some really good field position only for it to get knocked on god knows how many times .
Man of the match was the Stanley no. 19 though - had a cracking game

| Come on the crigg boys tomorrow. Here's hoping that all our west yorkshire rivals can forget our differences for the day to help support each other. There will definitely be a strong hull presence tomorrow and I'm sure the boys in black would appreciate you making your west yorkshire voices heard. Let's have the yorkshire cup u12 in wakey where it belongs.

| ok it might be a bit of I told you so but the Stanley Rangers u14s ended up being a run away victory at
58 -0.
at no time did Hunslet Warriors get anywhere to pressure our defense line that they couldn't handle which is why I believe they should look at seeding for the future.
twice we have lost in Barla finals heavily and today we was on the other side of the coin doing the hammering, with respect to to the Warriors some of the lads have come away wishing that they had been tested far greater than they had and didn't enjoy it as they did in the Semi against Skirlaugh where they won 8-4.
it was good to see our coach get every player up at the club house to give a little speech, very moving and also a lot of bonding going off
time to put our feet up for Xmas so time for the lads to rest their aching bods
