Was JudasHudson15 for a while, mainly because Ryan Hudson became my hero in his early days and he promised me he wouldnt leave, and he did.

Then moved onto to Roonaldo6 which at the time was when Jamie Rooney had signed but hadnt hit the heights yet. At the same time Wayne Rooney became Roonaldo so I adapted that to our own. Jamie did me proud for a few years. Name stuck whilst playing in the tag rugby games against other clubs and everyone called me Rooney or Roonaldo going forward. Dogs called Rooney too by the way.

When I was a student I came home one weekend and went to watch my mate playing for Stanley Rangers (Old Boys). They were playing away and were short, so they asked me to play. They asked what size boots I take, I replied "7 or 8", to which they replied, "these'll fit you". They turned out to be about size 12 and when I made a try-saving cover tackle I had to run with my toes pointed up to avoid tripping over the boots. Hence the nickname (ala Brassed Off - Coco the Scab).

username comes from many moons ago, the late and fondly remembered Wakefield Physio Ben Quansah used to give me and my dad lifts to the ground on match days,Ben was always loaded down with equipment and i was always placed in charge of carrying Bens bag.Old style white Adidas holdall it was and contained all Bens magic formulas and miracle cures.Later on in life I ruptured my achilles while running for Harriers and he sorted me out then too,absolute saint of a man to all who knew him.

Username comes from where I live (Sandal) but Sandal Cat got there first for the obvious one so I shortened it to sandcat - which is also an actual animal (also referred to as the "sand dune cat", is a small wild cat distributed over African and Asian deserts - Wikipedia) and sometimes waiting for good results is a bit like being in the middle of a desert! It also says that "the sand cat has long hairs growing between its toes" - I didn't read that bit before I chose the username and last time I looked there were no hairs just unidentifiable bits!!! The 20 at the end was just added after an age related memory loss of passwords etc. and I wanted to post a reply quickly.

I keep meaning to sort out a sandcat picture for the avatar but ..... you know how it is. One day I'll do it.
