| Quote: Old_Faithful_IAKW "Ok. Agar isn't THAT bad of a coach. Infact, he's really good at some aspects of the job. He took over a really poor Hull FC side and has taken us to a CC final. He also took us from 11th in the league to 1 game away from 4th last year. He's good at improving players game (IMO). Manu, Tickle, Briscoe, Moa, Houghton have all improved in the last couple of seasons. He also makes good signings - whether that is because of the Hull FC name or not and whether he could replicate that at Wakefield I don't know. He has some strong ties to places like Featherstone too.
There are 2 things that he does badly IMO. The first is getting the players' in the right mindset. I honestly believe all the players like him and are motivated to play for him but I'm not sure if he can get the players' in the right mindset to beat teams like Saints/Warrington on a consistent basis. The second thing is his tactics, at times, are completely baffling. His use of substitutes is strange too.
Wakefield, for me, are one of the worst teams in the league. I think Agar can take you from basement dwellers to play-off makers with the right backing. Further than that, I don't think so.'"
Look I know you don't want him , but neither do we, so stop bigging him up.

| Ofiakow your club is no longer a big player and u until very recently have been playing at a similar standard to ourselves. Next season should see us improve a fair bit and we will be on an even keel with the likes of you rovers cas etc. Agar is a great bloke and has got a good rugby brain however he's not the man for us you condescending jerk

| I'm sure I've read somewhere that Agar hasn't given a young hull fc player a debut THIS year... Don't know how true that is, but for me if were looking to bring on our young players and give them a chance then its not Agar also imo he wouldn't revolutionise the coaching structure from top to bottom that I feel is what is required here at WTW

John Kear did that before the money problems for me I would keep JK if Agar is the only option

| I hope that 'Old_Faithful_IAKW' isn't Jimmy Elston's pen name.

| All though not my preferred choice as coach if it was agar then id support him and give him a chance. Goulding would just make us a laughing stock. What about agar with cummins as assistant? Who ever it is I'll still support the mighty trin but hopefully AG will take the best option available to move our great club forward
