Because we are paying him FFS - I think the least we can expect from a RL player is the ability to actually play. Going by your logic, Hickey should owe us a refund. |

If he does go to Salford, I think that will be a missed opportunity. There's no denying that he arrived in awful condition and hasn't been good vfm since then, but I'm convinced that with a well managed off-season, he could be a big impact player.
I hope Salford don't reap the rewards of our apparent inability to manage the development of some players; if Gledhill and Hickey pull up trees for Mr Parish next season, there'll be outrage on here.

No it won't it's just wishful thinking on your part IMHO. He will never get it back. Sure he may lose weight and get fitter but his ticker has gone and he will never be a top player in SL - life is to easy in SL for that, there is no incentive as some mug SL club will always pay him a wage based on reputation and forlorn hope - to me he represents all that is wrong with SL. |

i don't like andy wilson. but i credit him with enough knowledge of rugby league to understand correctly that being a fat lump isn't the ideal shape to be in. in this instance he's right. |
