I think that I agree with you on Higgins and Vievers because like Dean we need better players if we are to progress as a club.'"
I think moore looked better than hyde in only 2 games TBH I dont see any potential in Hyde at all.

Hyde played well against Cas earlier this season but hasn't really featured since then, so it's hard to say where he is in terms of his development.
I liked what I saw of Moore before his injury - with a full time off-season under his belt he could be a handy player, providing he can adapt to the speed of SL; I still think he needs to be understudy to a more experienced hand though, so his development can be properly managed.

| I don't think Hyde has a future in Super League. The only position I think he could play is winger, because he can't kick or organise, and his defence isn't brilliant either.

Good post Elston will get a good experience scrum half in and it will be our big transfer of the year. Moore is a understudy no place for Hyde unfortunatly .

| Thought Dean was one of our best early in the season but then got injured and not really seen a great deal from him since. Good luck to him at Widnes

| I think Dean is more of a back rower than a centre. He seemed to get exposed defensively when playing centre.

| With regard to Hyde, mentioned above, I think he would show up more with a good scrum half.
He is very much like a Grix to me. In a poor team he sometimes looks vulnerable because he likes the broken play rather than running the basics well. Grix looks great at Huddersfield because he doesn't hav to organise there.
To use an example of our near neighbours, Fox and Steadman were a great partnership, but Steadman was a runner, not an organiser. Without a Fox or other like him he looked weaker.
I think Hyde is a player I would give a chance to, on the understanding that he has work to do. He is still young enough to develop.
Problem with that idea is he has others wanting that place.
Assuming we get a good quality halfback, we have Moore, Wildie, young Kaye and Hyde all going for the other spot. You can only keep so many. Moore has the box seat mainly for his kicking. Kaye is young so will probably be used in U20s. I'd say the other two are under pressure to show they can do it.

I agree with pretty much all ur post mate with the exception of young wildie who was being tracked by a few of the bigger teams before his contract extention. He has alot of ability and maybe should be sent out on dual reg next year as i feel at the moment davey is a better prospect at hooker and wildie and moore should be a half back paring in the next few years.

You have absolutely no idea about player development - for christ sake give him a chance. You were baying for Georges blood not so long ago and now look at him, he's on his way. You really need to look beyond the present with certain players it's not all about instant impact and gratification.

You've stolen abit of my thunder vastman, I was about to ask if NGB4C actually watched rugby as for me Hyde has more Guts than Moore could ever hope for(ie Hull KR when no one else would kick to win the game but Kieron stepped up,).He also stepped up to the plate AT cas and along with Wildie turned the game. NGB4C ask yourself this question "who was played in all the games that we have won this season" dont know? I'll tell you Kieron Hyde. He is now at the moment probably the best kicker we have at the club and he's only a young lad, who, with the right coaching could make a top quality sl player.

funny this one....more guts and best kicker ? i will have a pint of what your having I have seen them both come through the systems at Leeds and Bradford respectively and what you are saying about bottle and guts your so far off its laughable. Also the kick you mentioned was the one in the last seconds bang in front of stick ? My granny could have popped that over...
