If that's how you choose to see it. I'm suggesting AG didn't come up with it that's for sure as I don't think he knows anything about RL players and why should he. Maybe Elston did being an ex hooker but to me it smacks of an old hand who knows his stuff. Unless it was one of Kears better ones that we decided to run with.
More signings in this ilk will see my nerves settled 24-28 is the age group we are a bit short in. Still young but with a bit of knowledge.

Exactly, it has coaches choice written all over it, because I doubt AG had ever heard of him let alone wanted to sign him. And that is a very good thing IMO. |

Happy with this, always liked him when I saw him for Barra (and they was towards the top and on Sky regularly when he was there) - didnt really see much of him at Quins but nothing negative.
He's not going to win any trophies on his own but a few more of these type of signings to replace the Hendo's/Korki's/Smith's/Tony's etc of this world would suit me down to the ground. Not a pension seeker and homegrown - well done, lets hope its the first of many.

We are. Better crowds, debt free and a new stadium in the near future and hopefully an improved coaching set up. What are you offering - lad has his head screwed on IMO. |
