| The fact is. that most of our team are trying to learn their game and get experience, in Super League. We all know that most of them, that came here, are not the finished article but have shown, that they are learning and getting better. I think from where we were a few months ago, to where the team is now, is very encouraging but we as fans, always want our team to win and tend to lose a little perspective, especially after the wins we've had, of where this team is as far as talent..

| Kieron Hyde was against Rangi Chase today; currently the best player in Super League if you believe the hype (personally I do and think Cas are a one man band for it). The score at 80 minutes was 18-18. I think Kieron did alright.
Get off his back and let him develop!!!!!

| I've thought for a while that Hyde isn't up to the standard that others believe he is. I wasn't at Castleford so I'm not in a postion to comment, but I certainly don't think he is the playmaker we are crying out for, and whether he will develop into that I'm not sure. I did feel that our recruitment at the start of the season was geared towards building a side that would compete in the Championship next season, and feel that players like Hyde, Vievers, Griffin and Howarth will all stand out in a lower division. If we are to stay up, and Glover brings in the players that have been suggested, players of this calibre will see their game time reduced drastically.
Also, wasn't Hyde signed as full back?

Another one in the know apparently then you know that for sure do you? in an interview on the radio he stated that Kear phoned him with the news that after an approach from the Bulls the Wakey board had given him permission to talk to Bradford if he wanted to and the choice was his to make whether to stay or not despite being under contract, but if the facts don't fit in with your theory simply make them up as you go along. As for him wanting to play for us they all do, only time will tell if he's good enough, Nothing to go figure really.

| Howarth is clearly super league standard, the others all have competed well in the games they've played but still need a bit more time and nurturing. Don't think anyones let us down this season and it will be interesting to see how the careers of our squad pan out over the coming years.

| I spoke to Kieran after the game and he was gutted about the loss.

Its getting VERY embarrassing now!

| After sleeping on it I would like to say that Hyde wasn't great in attack but he tackled his balls off and i would like to make a point the with him and Lee we have the two best tackling half backs in the league.

Without wishing to criticise Hyde I think that statement is rather OTT.
People got carried away in their praise of him after the first Cas match and now some people are going over the top in their criticism of him after yesterday. Irrespective of whether he will become a very good player I think the problem with him being our first choice stand off is we also don't have proper scrum half to pair him with. We are thus left with a half back pairing who are unable to effectively move us around the park. That said, our running off the ball and attacking lines often give them absolutely nothing to work with and this makes their job much harder anyway.

| There is no way Hyde will ever be one of the best stand offs in the country. He may improve yes but he ain't ever going to be that good. I think he'd be better moving back to fullback and playing a kind of Luke Dorn role.
