To some extent, Quins has a good match-day experience if the crowds turn up, in that it's a good ground in an okay area that gives you an away day. The problem is that the fans are not turning up.

If the RFL cared out about the fans, it would be about the matchday experience. But they don't.

Attendance 1957, somebody said 19 1/2, didnt know if they meant thousand or 19 adults and a concession. Never mind though, its development that counts, at least it will be when the franchises get handed out

I reckon there was an absolute mazimum of 1300, probably looking at 900-1000 realistically. Embarassing.

I have done that but only at the Salford end there were 38 in the stand at the time

just to add to your point quins gave away 2500 pairs of tickets so 5000 in total and still only managed to get 4100 spectators (not forgetting many of the tickets were given to the cas fans infact i don't know any cas fan who paid to get in)

Think its fairly obvious the name change to Harlequins has been a disaster. I know it will mean another stadium move but they need to get away from Twickenham. Anyone who is a rugby fan will already have been swept up by the union lot.

I think East London is the best shot of making RL a success in the capital. As an area I would suggest its more suited to the typical RL fan demographic. I would also suggest the snobbery you'd find against RL in the Twickenham area wouldn't exist over the other side of the city. Brisbane Road would be an ideal venue.

It’s irrelevant how many were actually there watching, they are one of the RFL’s chosen ones, however, how much longer is their Sugar Daddy going to pick up the tab?

I remember him saying only last season, that he couldn’t carry on much longer pumping his own cash into the ‘Money Pit’, I appreciate the squad won’t be on mega bucks, I’ve no idea how much the parent club is charging in rent, but, they must be losing money, hand over fist.
