got to admit how many of are grandfinal winning academy have made it through? four. the coaching set up at wakey if crap to say the least. but what does kear do he goes and gets academy players from other clubs. all wakefield have seem to have done recently is shoot them selves in the foot.

the digs your trying to make at the Giants went out of fashion 5 years ago so change the record and concentrate on doing what you can to save what is left of your club rather than trying to poke fun at us

our club has been run shockingly for years mate, not the fans fault. our squad for this season reflected what crap financial state we were put in by our previous owner. hopefully we will bounce back strong one day to go toe to toe with a giants team as good as yours.

Firstly the initial post is an unsubstantiated rumour. A rumour which any Huddersfield fan can easily tell you won't be true. Ken Davy has no say in the playing staff, the has always been in the hands of the club MD, Richard Thewlis.

It seems you are all too quick to jump on the bandwagon. As far as I am aware we have only signed a player who was offered out by his agent. Remember there are rules in force about approaching players and these guys will be keen to secure a contract for both the short and long term. The administrators are trying to balance the books and without much income in the first few weeks they are offloading salaries. To thus end I cannot see a part time junior commanding a salary if anything therefore there is no need to let them go.

You all seem to be focusing you bile on Hudds yet players have gone to Hull, Catalan, Quins and KR. Infact, isn't there a KR fan joining in above? Ironic really!

I would suggest you wait to hear who and what has been bought by the new owner, who has been released by the owner and what is actually causing the delay in getting WTW sold.

I'm afraid aiming all your cannons toward Huddersfield may be a bad idea especially as we're going to be loaning you top quality players very soon. Unless you want to scupper that for your club by spouting off further about the Giants.

They, like us, have had Cup and Championsip winning sides and produced international players. They just happen to have a man with the fortune and who is willing to throw it away, knowing there will be no return other than a philanthropic one, as most owners do.

Again, Huddersfield, Hull, Crusaders, The RFL, none of them caused this mess for us, that is the result of years and years of rank bad management, culminating in risking everything on planning permission being granted on a stadium the club will not own and leaving us homeless in effect.

Richard Lewis didn't sell Belle Vue. Neither did Leighton Samuels, Kath Hetherington, Ken Davy, Paul Caddick, Jack Fulton, Ian Leneghan…

Wadski....whilst I agree with most of your comments, the simple fact is that we are currently in our death throes, and whilst ever we have breath in our dying body, we will continue to shout abuse, and try to fend off whichever vulture is sitting on our chest trying to bite our head off.

i've seen my club go through more crap than most RL fans can dream about but i stuck by what bit of a club i had to support and now i'm enjoying been a supporter - we have got some good times just around the corner.
As for the fans that even in this sad state of affairs at Belle vue want to try and poke fun at the Giants be it crowds, management, boardroom etc when their own club have next to nothing left seems a little bit strange to me !!

we had the best academy a couple of years ago but are crap coaches have done nothing wiv them. the amount of world class players our fine club has produced even through crap times is outstanding. hopefully under are newownership we can get back to were we are meant to be one day.

Agree, and in fact I think that the mods on here should pull up the drawbridge and clean the site up from shudds fans.Leave them to their own hole instead of the gloating post's we get from them. As a club absolutly no respect left for them, in fact they are a disgrace

i think the fans are that pee'd off at the moment that they are just firing at anyone thats from an opposite club. i really take my hat off to hudderfield because of all the english players you have in your team. its a credit to the international stage. hopefully we can get back to the days were we produce players like ellis and westwood, but actually keep them.

Lots of players fall by the wayside when the real push comes, but come on even to think acadamy to SL in 18 months is askin alot.

That's just it though mate, even in the state Trinity is in, it hasn't stopped people, coming on the forum for the past few day and doing nothing but trolling and trying to cause trouble, people are obviously reacting to it. Even in this thread a fan from your club has stirred the pot, so what does he expect to happen, fans not to react.

That's what I'd like to read more of when I come on this forum.

i will never give up on wakey, just angry at what has caused us to get in this situation. one day i would love us to have a squad breeming with international players like wire and hudds but because of what has happened it will not happen for a long time.
