I'm sure you have come on here with good intentions and do not wish to cause trouble, the problem is that as you have already gathered on the VT quite a few are making capital out of our current plight, you indeed have had a run in with one of them in our defence and for Wakey fans that do not use the VT and are not familiar with such as yourself they tend to take a defensive mode against visitors on our board at a time like this.

The problem over the years can be summed up simply. We have not had enough paying supporters and not having a rich enough sugar daddy to plug the gap. Some figures given out at the meeting sum it up. Hull have sold 10000 season tickets Hull KR 6500 Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have sold 500. Yes a pathetic 500. Now as I understand it Hull KR have bigger debts than us and that is with the extra season ticket revenue year in year out and people wonder why we have to sell the likes of Nigel Wright and Danny Brough. We are basically a championship side punching above our weight. Now I don't know how active Ted has been over the years in finding that rich sugar daddy. If he has not then if must be criticised for it as long term it is our only chance of survival and growth.

If things go as they look to , you'll all have to get used to us , but hopefully discussing subjects involving a funny shaped ball

We are a sl club that's always been run like a championship side and after last seasons collapse fans are voting with there feet. If we has a sugar daddy and stadium of shudds we'd get alot better support than them dare I say if we'd have had the long term success st Helens have had we would be better supported than them. To compare us with HKR they've signed Willie Mason extended the east stand and got plans for another stand their fans have a season to look forward to we don't. If Newmarket had been given the green light instead of us having to wait on it and made a top class signing and a forward thinking board we have sold allot more season tickets. The fanbase is out there for Wakefield that's what makes all the recent happenings so sad. Let's get Newmarket sorted and get a new board and get this great old club back on track.

I hope when Ted does go that he doesn't spend the rest of his life coming on here crying his eyes out. No doubt he'll realise how pathetic that sort of stance comes across to the run of the mill supporter.

How did Ted get control of the club in the first place?

Nobody else wanted it or could provide the financial backing it required. Not much different to today really apart from the fact that Ted's skint now like the rest of us.
