It would be good to have more than one interested party (although to be honest I would settle for one with a decent business brain and some cash).

The only slight worry is that the people deciding who to hand over the reins are the same people who have presided over various cock-ups in the past.

I am hoping they take some external advice on this issue (only not from Teds Solicitor)

I am not shooting the messenger as like you say its what you have heard.

BUT ITS UTTER PONY, Whelan has no interest in RL he proved that at Wigan over the years he was there. He has only one interest and that is the footy club.

HE SHOWED HIS TRUE COLOURS WHEN HE MADE WIGAN PLAY (I THINK IT WAS A SEMI FINAL PLAY OFF) AT WIDNES BECAUSE IT WOULD MARK THE PITCH FOR THE FOOTY TEAM. AS A RUGBY FAN THAT WAS THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN AS FAR AS I WAS CONCERNED IN RELATION TO HIM. IT ALSO SHOWS WHAT POWER WIGAN HAVE AT THE DW STADIUM...DIDLY SQUAT.
