| He is absolute gash.
I’ve no idea if there is anything in this rumour, but if true, this would be the worst singing since Paul Reilly.
I would rather play some of the young lads than most of the cast-offs we’re being linked with

| Quote: Slugger McBatt "I've heard or read somewhere that Worrincy is one of the best trainers at Bradford, and very professional and determined. He just seemed to bulk up a bit too much so that he was a bit immobile. I don't pretend to be a physique expert (as my body shape will testify), but if he gets a bit leaner around the legs, I reckon he could do a job. When he was slaughtered at Warrington, he wasn't able to move to combat a step because he was too muscled up.'"
his physical attributes arent his problem, Its his total lack of any kind of rugby brain or even basic understanding of the principles of the game. extremely brave decision by kear if he's taking him on as his next project.

Couldn't agree more.
Christ on a bike - first Penny now Worrincey; WTW cements its reputation as a rest home for the cack, the crocked and the cast-offs of SL. Ace.

And yet this is a 'team' sport.
We did well in 2007 and 2008 with a bunch of so called 'rejects', 'has-beens' and 'never will be's'.
Put it this way - Bradford put an awful lot of money in the pockets of a couple of players who were supposed to set SL alight. It doesn't seem like a good model to me!

It didn't sell us anymore season tickets either.

| The signing I'm waiting for is Menzies. I really hope he comes, because he would be a superb on-field leader who will command absolute respect.

Would you rather we spend tonnes on an aussie who lasted 3 games and then sulks or in young english players?

| He always looked a very good player at Quins and when he signed for the Bulls i thought it was a great signing for them . However, since he has been at Bradford he has stagnated if not gone backwards.
If he can regain his quins form then he will be a very good signing if it is true.
If he does sign on a 2 year deal as the original post mentioned, would he be our first player at wakey to have a contract beyond the end of next season?

No - I'd rather we spent money on decent players; you're presenting a false argument by the way - there's loads of middle ground between a sulky aussie and a young english lad.

| Would be a good signing in my opinion, he cant be any worse defensivly than what we already have and at least he knows his way to the line. He would possibly be the only player at the club i would fancy to have the pace to go the length of the field.

Solid???
Have you seen his defence, when he comes on he gives away a try or two at least.
Kear would be mad to sign him for Wakefield and the Championship should be where Worrincy is headed.

Wonder if that's to do with the quality of coaching recieved for the majority of his career at Odsal? McNamara, why?!?

Then why haven't players like Lynch, Scruton, Langley and Whitehead gone backwards then?

Some players work better with different coaches. Look at Brough, he played his best rugby under Kear but hasn't been as good at Huddersfiel or when he was at Cas.
Maybe a change of coach will do Worrincy good.
