A member of this board said Wakey were interested in Dowes and I was just sharing my thoughts about a player I've watched for the last 8 years.
What's wrong with that?
As for Fielden, there are those on the Hull board who are much more "in the know" than me who are confident he's coming to Hull.

Dowes is a reasonable replacement prop........wont knock many back in the tackle but is quietly efficient defensively.

| If there are allegedly 4 superleague coaches 'looking' at him, then I feel that there must be something that interests them.
PS How long was DF out injured and what state of the game did it happen? That prop also 'skinned' one or two more in that move.  |

Yes thats right, thats why tehy have offered him a deal for next year.
Maybe go onto the Wigan board and read the "Fielden Off?" thread to see what fans who watch him each week think of him.
Ok he sint the prop he was 5 years ago, but still a very good player.
This year he has been the best prop for the best team in the league.
If this signing comes off I would be very happy, miles better than the props that we have leaving in Dowes, Radford and Cusack, so a big improvment to our team.
As for Dowes very solid workhorse, very good defence, plays plenty of minutes 60-70 minutes a game if required and rarley gets injured.
I would be quite happy for him to stay at Hull.

He wasn't looked after when he was young, should have been spelled more.
