Yep very very good debut just loved his enthusiasm aggression and hunger, the look on his face on 1 of his first hit-up's was everything i wanted to see determination and a will to do well.

Very impressed with him, really looked the part in both attack and defense. Don't remember him getting dominated at all, looks very promising and should have a good chance of a first team run given Kingy's absence.

Guess that young lad's reputation succeeds him. Really impressed with Gledhill's performance, hope he gets more chances in the team.

was talking with the stanley captain golly yesterday and he said his younger brother has the potential to be a much better player if he works hard and makes the grade

I work with Ben and Adam's uncle, who told me a while ago that they were both at the club, and was singing their praises (not that he is biased or anything !!!)
But (after admitting that he is a closet Whino's fan ), has now stated that he will be coming to BV to watch them in action, along with the rest of the family
He also informs me that Adam is potentially a better player then Ben, but after Friday's performance from Ben, all I can say is "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL"

I'd have been happy if we'd signed a seasoned pro and had made a debut like his, so very promising to get a young lad doing the job.
Good luck to him, and well done JK and teh team for getting hold of him and being brave enough to throw him in.

I agree the lad showed confidence offloading ran hard tackled well he had everything Kyle Bibb hasn't shown in 2 years I was impressed by Gledhill. But why did he leave Cas did Cas think he wasn't good enough or something? Cas's loss he looked a really good player.

Ben was with the Wildcats scholarship scheme from the age of 12 until around 16. He wanted to concentrate on studies and was then picked up by Cas after been sought after by a couple of other super league clubs.
He had a couple of years at Cas (never mind) but rejected their offer to come back part time at Wakey to prove he had the wherewithall to break into super league.
Lets hope he continues to progress as he has done to date.

I believe Leeds and Cas made him offers but ours was better.

the lad was quality for a very good cas academy side and stood out from most.
