Quote: Rogues Gallery "It was.

I honestly thought it was poor quality game, but entertaining.
Both sides should be concerned about their discipline, or lack of it, almost every try came from a conceded penalty or dropped ball. I suppose we should expect that considering the lack of preparation both teams have had this last couple of weeks.

See you all in June.'"

certainly was entertaining it was nice to see some open play today, Mozza and Tronc is going to be a great requestions, our dropped balls from he off loads was picked up quickly and distributed out to the wings in fine style I just hope that this is how we intend to take on this season

Quote: jonh "My only gripe was having to pay £7 for my 4 year old. Really poor in my opinion that, at every other ground we have been to both my lads have always got in free, even the all seaters.

These are the kind of fan the club should be looking to attract, i will not be taking him back this season, he enjoys a half then becomes a bit restless and its not worth paying for him.

Think under 6's should be free, at all clubs.'"

buy a season ticket then !! i took my 9 year old and 5 year old and they loved it! cost me £28 so what..afternoons entertainment..
These are the kind of fan the club should be looking to attract!!!!! NO they are not because when he "becomes a bit restless" why should we all be distracted ?

Get a grip. I am sure my lad will love it in a years time but he is just 4 and it was a friendly game.

I do not get to every game so why would i buy a season ticket? Should i send him on his own.

The key is getting them while they are young, and then retaining them. Both my lads have an affection towards the Wildcats because of the marketing, one is 4 the other 3. I have taken them on several occasions to the game and the only person they distract is me, but this is the way new fans are attracted, they have Daddy Cool at the fast food restaurants targeting the kids and then charge for them to go to a friendly.

If you become distracted by other peoples kids more fool you, the only person i allow to be distracted by my boy is me.

Pathetic comment.

Think your confused there. You led 3 of the 4 quarters but you only won the first one if your breaking them up individually (which was 12-0). The second quarter was 18-10 to Wigan, the third a 6-6 draw and the fourth 16-10 to Wigan.

yep that's the one , the main point i was making was that both times we blew for half/half time icon_biggrin.gif we were in the ascendancy and looking very dangerous.

Quote: TRB "Don't think there were many negatives at all today. If JK was worried about the game he would have pulled Potts off the pitch - but he didn't.

We have a new dimension with Morrison on the park.
Our forwards looked good.
Our halves - what an embarrasment of riches.
Murphy is turning into a quality player.
Ditto Gleeson.
Millard - Those feet would look good on 'So you think you can dance'

I would say now - if we don't finish as high as last year or better - we will have under-performed.

Genuinely excited after that!

just quoted to ask... whos potts?

any relation to the mighty Steve Potts the man with the mohican from the 80s????

sounds like a really good work out and scoring 9 tries against the team that Wigan put out was quite encouraging... I like a team that scores lots of tries!!!

Thoroughly entertaining game, with some positives to come out of it. Morrison looked very good (apart from his kicking icon_biggrin.gif ), Tronc and Korki looked a good pairing in the opening 20, Murph's backed up his good game at Headingley with another good performance, Morton took his chances well, as did Glees and Millard. Henderson worked hard as usual, and BJ ran some good straight lines and used the ball well. Think Broughy and Obsty caused them problems without really being at their best (which only bodes well), and was nice to see some of the young lads get a little run.

One or two negatives IMHO, King looked unfit, and his positioning at marker and when defending at A or B was poor, Moore was sloppy on occasions and for some reason Fergy just didn't look interested, every tackle he made he was being driven backwards and was losing the collision all the time (that said, i really rate Fergy and im sure he will have a great season). Overall I think we are in for a good season, and when I turned round and realised that JD/Blanchie/Matty b and Johnson were stood next to me (not available) it only made me smile even more.

Top 4 and a final me thinks k020.gif k020.gif

Wigan will struggle this year.IMHO.
