Tin hat on but I heard that the fee in isolation was not the problem for Leeds but the wages required did not fit their wage structure. If true we should not mock Leeds for this they run a tight ship despite their size and sucess.

Quinns for Wilkes then that's another matter.

I also heard snitch asked for an amount to stay and was refused. Had it offered by cas and then Wakey offered to match it but he left on principal.

Good luck to Ryan at wire I think it's a good move for both clubs. Ryan will grow as a player there and the money is very nice for Wakey. Whilst Ryan has been brilliant lately I don't think he kept developing at Wakey since his earlier showings.

I really hope, and think he will go out with a bang in the playoffs for the club and the fans and I will cheer him off in his last game

Good for Wire, (Huddersfield and whoever) if they have somebody wishing to help out. Maybe their fans don't moan and groan every time a cloud appears in the sky.

Some players will leave, others will arrive. IF Ryan Atkins leaves he owes us nothing, he didnt arrive for any great amount of cash, has never let us down- (despite what some think) he has the chance to be a great RL player and good luck to him. he's young and talented, id prefer if he stayed but if he goes he is one player i wont hate for sure.

Atkins contracted until 2011 so we should have told Wire to bugger off !!!! Its annoying what was looking like we would have our strongest squad in years is looking like a average one once again ! Newton over the hill i don't rate him he isn't a patch on Brad Drew. Morrison great player if he stays fit. 2 aussies great signings can't fault.

Atkins - probably the best young british centre in the country

I think Kear was very sensible in making it clear to any potential buyers that the player has a high price, which is effectively what his statement was doing.
