Quote: Sun Bed Kid "you cant have a go at players for moving clubs for more money, loyalty doesnt pay the bills. they only have a short career got to make the most of it.'"

it's all down to agents, I agree we'd all move jobs for money, but the more a player moves the more the paydays the agent gets. What really annoys me is players are being touted around clubs before the contracts are over and nobodys that bothered, shame it wasn't the case when we were allegedly after Robinson!!!!!

Players do have to look after themselves and they will been shown no loyalty if they were deemed not good enough, but I do have issues with agents who are more concerned with looking after their own pocket rather then looking after their clients interests.

Once a player is happy with a deal then the agents should accept that decision. To then tout them about with what their existing club have offered then dangle a better offer in front of their clients is just plain wrong in my mind. If the player wants to go and isn’t happy with the deal then fair enough, but we have heard on here that both Snitch and Wilkes were set to sign only to have their heads turned by better offers.

Korkidas should have a word that money isn’t everything. He went to Cas over Trinity for 10K more and while his bank balance will have been happy his demeanour was not.

Still if they go they go, it will be disappointing but there are others waiting for their chance.

Cats mad have a look at his match stats his performances of late have been excellent, even getting the m.o.m. award (if correct in LE as stated by someone else) when on the losing side v penrith this weekend. It is unusual for a forward to get m.o.m. anyway nevermind when johnathon thurston is on your team aswell. icon_lol.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

My son-in-law lives in Queensland and is a Cowboys fan, he, along with lots of Cowboys fans are gutted he`s leaving, having been their stand-out player this season. His tackle stats are impressive, (34 last week), and has made more tackles than any of their other forwards, as well as being their top yardage maker.

You catch see for yourself following as all NRL games for the rest of the season are being shown live online for free following the demise of Setanta. Its available @ www.bigpondtv.com/nrlliveuk. If that dopesn`t works links are available from the NRL home site. www.nrl.com, they are away at Gold Coast Titans today, k.o. 10.25a.m. BST. Be aware that NRL games are always a few minutes late kicking off and streaming does not start until they are in play.

Nice to read an article that refers to us just as 'Wakefield Trinity' and not Wildcats for once!

the ground situation and the fact we seem to be off oading players is the reason snitch and wilkes have left imo. Also JK rescued thier careers and offered good upgraded extensions but they chose to leave. I know there is no loyalty anymore but Jk has shown faith and helped these players when NO other club would touch them, and it clearly meant nothing to them.

Come on if they have gone it’s because they have got a better deal. Although the stadium issue and the future of the club may be of concern to supporters and club officials, the players will just move on to another SL club if Wakefield didn’t get a license.

I don’t think the threat against the club in 2012 would affect them now unless they were signing a 3 year deal.

Also, no-one has officially left the club other then Pitts, where as 3 quality players are already confirmed for next season with Evans also purported to have signed.

Rumour had it yesterday Snitch was staying anyway.
