Never let us down - most of the 'informed' were looking too much at his age rather than his performance.

| I think I'm right but was Mr Ganson the ref when Hock did the same as JD???
What I'm thinking is Hock lead with an elbow,JD lead with his hand but elbow connects and if Mr Ganson was at both games it boils down to consistency, the decision last night being consistent with earlier decision involving Hock.

Was the incident put on report, or will it be looked at by the disciplinary bods? Don't remember anything done about it last night.

So "frustration" is a legitimate excuse?
Is it hell. He deserves a ban, but won't because he's a Stains player. Simple as.

| Thought so at the time but didn't get involved, but a lot of people are under-estimating the damage a short sharp punch like that can do. From experience of a gym and watching boxing all my life punches like that, that don't travel much distance can be extremely damaging, especially when they are cheap ones like that what you're not expecting.
If the injury is confirmed then Cunningham should be dealt with accordingly.

I didn't actually see what happened. I just saw the ball come out and Stosic go down and stay down. I didn't see Cunningham punch him (I was at the match and it happened at my end of the field). Nothing was put on report. The match continued. However, if something bad happened then the RFL will pick up on it, as they do during their review of all the matches. If Cunningham did throw a punch or in some way deliberately set out to injure Stosic then he deserves what he gets.
However, I'd wait for Wakey club to confirm the injury and the RFL to comment, as rumours do like to grow in the RL world I've found. I wouldn't like Cunningham to be given a rep he doesn't deserve. He isn't a dirty player. A big hitter, but not a dirty player.

I dont think the ref even saw it tbh. He was layed out on his back and wasnt moving. You could tell he was in trouble the way he went down. For my money the game should have been stopped as it was near the play the ball and what was more annoying was they scored from the resulting play the ball.

Well I wasn't. I can tell you now that Bradford away he was injured and should not have played as with the game either before or after that 1. He was not up to standard in those games because of injury and no amount of rewriting history will change that. I still firmly believe that we should have him back in the centres as his strength in there would lead to plenty of tries.

| To getr back on topic I think Obst, Grix & Blaymire (in no particular order) were more deserving of the MOM than JD.
JD also needs to take a couple of lessons in offloading from Richie Moore - his dreadful attempt late on was half understandable as there was someone fairly close on his shoulder, but given the game situation he should have shown true leadership qualities and taken the tackle. We could have pinned Saints deep in their own half with a couple of minutes to go, but instead let them have a scrum on half way which led to us concedin ground & then a reckless penalty from Korki to give them the late chance to draw the game.
Fine, we'd have stil won the game by 2, but some sensible play from JD would have made it a lot less nervy.

No Charge
Initial contact is by open palmed hand on shoulder. Any contact by arm/elbow is as a consequence of the initial contact and is not intentional. The arm is not promoted into the face. Hand at all times is loose.

| wow you dont like jd hey. grix let in a soft try in the first half, but you didnt see that cause you were watching jd so closely. while i agree about the offload to comment about not being a true leader is a joke, based on that performance.
