| I think the initial interest in him came prior to the incident involving Scott Moore so not certain that he will have the hooking role.
What he will bring if he is the replacement is a bit of pace around the play the ball.
One thing for sure is if he isnt the replacement we will have depth around 6,7 and 9 for next year. Something we were lacking during 2016.
Welcome back Kyle.

| I was a little critical of what he could bring to the team, as he has always been used as an impact player.
Maybe now at 27, it's time for him to make a name for himself as a starting hooker doing long minutes?

| Been really impressed with the squad recruitment this year especially as we all know we're not the richest club

| Good signing. Still only 27 . Cover at half back and hooker. Before people complain , who did they expect Cameron Smith or Isaac Luke?

| I was certain I'd seen that he'd gone to Leeds.
Glad he didn't. Good player. I'd play him at 9.

| Gunna get ripped down the middle with Finn or Wood playing 9. Still he's an pivot option until he gets ideas above his station again.

| Good player withe the ball, got some speed out of dummy half and can give us some impact off the bench.
My only worry is defensively he can be targeted by the opposition much like fifita did in the quarter final.

| Welcome back. Can't see him playing in the halves with Williams and Miler there, although he's be good back up if anyone gets injured. With the Moore situation obviously not looking good, it looks like he's going to be playing there. Obviously he hasn't got the defense Moore has but he's got good speed from dummy half and has decent distribution. Maybe he'll do the No.9 job with Sio moving back there and Arona permanently at lock.

| I think this is a really smart signing by the club. Atm with the moore situation, we don't know for certain but I would go Sio starting hooker, wood interchange 9 and Sio move to 13 to give Arona a rest as Sio seems to be effective for the full 80. Provides cover in the halfs aswell as Finn. Not a player that sets the world alight but was definitely a lively out of dummy in his last stint with us and seems to have matured abit whilst at huddersfield. Like some say a bit lightweight in defense and maybe targeted down the middle when he comes on.

Sio should only be used at hooker in emergencies, his distribution is just not good enough or fast enough. It's looking like Wood is going to be Moores replacement so Wood starting at 9.
It's a shame Moore is an idiot, we would have had a decent squad. If we don't sign anyone else I feel we will be a bit light in the most pivotal position on the field.

A hooker by trade, played there at international level should only be used in emergencies? We are a club on a limited budget and wood wont play the full 80 at 9, id rather have Sio there than Finn any day of the week but that's just my opinion. Although not the best, I never thought his distribution was poor as your making it out although I did think he lacked a running game out of DH. Great tackler though. Who knows our starting 9 might be yet to come?

| Got to agree with MashPotatoes here, Sio proved towards the back end of the season that his days as a hooker are numbered.
Slow distribution and no variety.
A lot better as a tackling 13.

Fair play ! Maybe something I haven't picked up on, I do think he came life at loose last season, but thought with limited options there he may end up there.

Agree. Sio's distribution although not as good as Moores, isn't as bad as some say and he can do a job there. Moore's brain fart as left us really in a hole in that position. So if it's choice of a Sio/Wood hooking combo or a Finn/Wood, I'd got with the former just give us some balance in defense but we'll see. Be also interesting to see how Brad Moules has developed in the off season. We've seen with Johnstone and Jowittt how quickly things change at that age.
Be interesting whether Sio plays hooker or goes back to lock, or the team thinks he can do a job for us at hooker and they play Arona at Lock.
