I do wish Webster good luck. I reckon he'll be a good coach one day but this was too early for the kind of stress that the Wakefield job brings.

I just mean in general, Gilmour as assistant is another. Sometimes you have to spend a little, heck whoever he gets don't get them on a 3 year deal for starters. It's clear Carter knows nothing about Rugby which is fine, so don't hire inexperienced head coaches!

I think Clans suggestion is a great one. At a loose end, no compo to pay and possibly would look to take on a short term deal with the option to extend.
